Sharp Point Lookout

Follow a 4 km unsealed road off Frenchman Bay Rd to Sharp Point Lookout.

Offers a short but spectacular walk to a lookout with amazing coastal views. Spectacular in all conditions but particularly enjoyable when the sun is out.

This part of the SW WA coast is very rocky with wild surf careering up granite outcrops. Interspersed between outcrops are white sandy beaches. Both aspects are visible from this lookout.

Beautiful spot to view the sunset but the gravel road in is corrugated, eroded and generaly dangerous, not really fit for 2wd's although they will get you there. Nice banksia's around here as well as resident roo's. No facilities though & a small carpark area.

Short loop which isn't too difficult, we went during sunset and was well worth it . Bit of a rough drive for our van but most cars would make it easily

It's on a gravel road with little signage so look at the map closely but very achievable in a 2wd, especially on a day like the day I went, 1000% worth the drive for the view, absoloutly breathtaking and almost no one there, careful when driving on the road as it only fits one car so might have to stop on the side to let someone pass

Breathtaking views! Worth a visit if you are prepared to drive on an unsealed road for approximately 4 kilometres.

One of the best outlooks in Albany. Wild and awesome in a winter storm and photogenic on an offshore breeze.

stunning views, you can basically drive all the way there and then it is a beautiful little loop, easy to walk

There are 2 different lookouts on the same trail. Short walk from the car park. Great views.

Beautiful location with gorgeous views of torndirrup national park.
Also very quiescent and minimal rush of people like at the Bridge. Dirt road is easily travelled on by your usual hatchback

This is a very rewarding but difficult to find lookout. It couls be a quick visit site for tourists to take some stunning pictures of the Torndirrup National Park. The sign pointing to the "Sharp point" is positoned low and therefore very easily missed. It is accessible to all ages if you can drive, though the road leading to it is a 4 km long up-slope bumpy and unpaved road. What you can see are three tiny islands or rocks below the cliff, the roacky coast lines, beaches and wind farm turbines. The lookout area is properly fenced; therefore it is safe for families with kids.

Gravel road to get there but in good condition so easily 2WD. Wouldn't stay here too long but well worth a stop in.

Very nice point to view the coast from windfarm down to the gap. Unsealed road with gravel. Need 5 mins walk from parking.

Off the main road but so worth it, we have seen some kangaroos on the way there that's a bonus 😉

A view out over the southern ocean. With sweeping views west towards the wind farm and views to the east of the gap and natural bridge. In spring the wildflowers are in full bloom. A nice easy gravel road makes it accessible by 2wd

Lovely little hidden gem down a long gravel track. Great views and lots of little birds and wildlife about to see.

It's an easy walk down a clear path. The view is of beautiful blue ocean, rugged coastline and a horizon that's miles and miles away
