Good place to hire snow items. Just 100m off Tourist rd. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy process, eftpos available. Open till 8 pm, so enough time to get back to base.

The owner was good enough to personally show us how to put chains on the tyres. Parking available inside the premises. Saw snow jackets, pants, fishing items for sale/hire in store.

Bonus - public toilets, bbq facility with river view and small kids park just metres away. Good place for a pit stop if driving from Melbourne.

Myself and my partner Gearoid popped into Hanno’s shop over the weekend for some camping essentials. Such a friendly guy with everything you could need for fishing and camping. He made us feel very welcome!

Very good price for snow chain, gear hire. Gears are in great, clean condition. No need to detour the route from East Melbourne.
Staff also gave us good advice on booking toboggan passes and whether we need to fit the chain or not. Highly recommended!

Awesome guy turns up at Toorongo Falls campgrounds between 5 to 6pm every Friday to Saturday selling big bags of chopped wood ready to use on your fire. Great service, plenty of stuff you need. Thanks keep up the good work.

Excellent place to drop by to rent some snow wear and snow chains before your trip up to Baw Baw. Owner was very friendly and took the time to make sure all our gear was well-fitting and even took me through fitting the snow chains on.

He also mentioned that he's transitioning to even better quality jackets, pants, and boots, so for the near future, you can expect new/new-ish gear for rent.

Will definitely come back here for gear rentals for my future trips to Mt Baw Baw!

We were a huge group who hired some clothing and chains over the weekend and these guys were amazing at helping us out! Even gave us a discount!! The mannequin at the front was very welcoming too! 😂😂😂

Super friendly owner and fair price. We bought ice and firewood there. We were by motorcycle, so he offered to deliver it to the campground for us, as he goes to the two campground near down to sell firewood in the weekend afternoons.

The owner is one of the friendliest blokes I've ever met! Gave us heaps of advice for fishing the trout locally, and pointed us in the right direction for some gear we wanted from his shop. Unfortunately the trout weren't biting that day, but we will most definitely be back!
