Typical outlet experience, staff friendly and efficient, took care of warranty issues with some cookware without complaint.

Very bad experience! Never go to this store again! On VIP day( which was on 22nd, 2018, I bought 2 drink bottles, when I got home I found that I was overcharged. The following day at around 2.30pm, I popped in and asked for my money back. One of the staff( an old lady) she could not work out how much the amount was, (I think she’s confused by the 20% discount). She became very rude to me, she sarcastically said to me “I hope you has not drive very far from here,” She asked another staff for help. She said to the staff ‘“ some one drive very far from here to just get several dollars back. “ I was astonished!!!
The second staff looked at me embarrased but she did not say any thing. She solved the problem and gave my money back without saying anything.

I want to tell the old staff: first, you need go back to primary school to find your maths teacher. Second, you need to learn what is customer service.

I will tell everyone I know about this bad ecperience I’v ever met!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE -- like far too many Australian retailers, "Matchbox" is run by folks who will finagle and prevaricate in order to make an extra buck. In other words, they have the mindset of Little Criminals. I ordered something from them on Amazon (before researching their business online). MY mistake. THEY charged me TWICE the amount they normally charge for each item (nearly a dozen). THEIR LITTLE CRIMNAL actions. If you value honesty and customer service, AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS
