This lookout was absolutely stunning, far surpassing what any photograph could capture. As we gazed out over the vast landscape, we also had the pleasure of observing some beautiful birds, adding to the serene ambiance. Nearby, the joyful sounds of children playing the echo game filled the air, enhancing the lively atmosphere. It was a delight to hear their laughter as they called out into the vastness, listening eagerly for the echoes bouncing back. This whole experience was not only visually breathtaking but also full of fun and discovery, making it a memorable day out for everyone.

Surely one of the most breathtaking views ive ever seen. It felt so peaceful up there looking at all that beauty. Make sure to go on a sunny day (not cloudy) for the best views and colours. Worth the 20 minute hike!!

Beautiful hike, can be done by anyone with a basic level of fitness. The view is absolutely gorgeous. We went around 9am and it was not too crowded but I think it ll be nicer if you went earlier to have the place to yourself. The total hike can be done in 1 hr return if you are a regular hiker. This would include 10 mins at the top for pictures. But if you have the time to spare, you can take as much time as you need.
Plenty of parking spaces and toilets at the base.
We went in our camper van and there was dedicated parking for big vehicles. We had our parks pass on the windscreen.

Superb!!
Walks are well indicated. Steps ease the way. The estimated times for the walks are accurate and consider return trips.
I recommend having snacks/lunch appreciating the look - don't forget to leave nothing behind to preserve the national park.

The hike to Wineglass Bay lookout point is magnificent. Keep in mind that there’s a significant amount of climbing involved, making it quite a challenging hike. There are two paths leading up: the path on the left through the bushes and the path starting on the right side (with its many steps). If you suffer from vertigo, I recommend choosing the forest route.

A dream come true .. so spectacular to see the Wineglass Bay from the lookout! More special to walk down to the beach and dip your toes in the beautiful water. Follow the Isthmus trail back to the car park! Spectacular views of the Tasman Sea! Ps. Get to the trail before 10h00 . . Later the crowds might spoil the moment!

A walk to the top is well worth the beautiful views. Easy parking available. There are several viewing spots to capture breathtaking pictures. You can also hike down to the beach.

A beautiful park, well accessible, with many destinations and attractive places for short and long walks. First we made the way to the Lookout, but from there we continued to the beach - definitely recommended for those who have extra air in their lungs ;)

Great view, well worth the steep climb on the thousands of steps. You'll need to pick the right time to go when it's not too hot. Really morning or late afternoon works best.

Stunning lookout, worth the walk. Takes about 35-40mins one way to the top, and from there you can walk another 45mins to the beach or go up to the lookout. Pretty easy walk, consistent incline and a lot of stairs. Parking can be a little tricky if busy and you will have to buy a park pass, but very worth going to

A good hike to the viewpoint to see the Wineglass Bay. The hike will take about 20min up for the fast hikers and about 40-50 min if you want to take it easy. The view and breeze is definitely worth it. But remember to pay for your parking spot at the machines. Also be on the lookout for Pademelons and Wallaby’s in the area. They are friendly, but always wild. Keep your hands to yourself with wild animals in Australia or anywhere. Enjoy the hike and the view.

After a 30-minute hike, we reached the lookout and were greeted by a breathtaking view that took our breath away. The extra journey down to the beach was an absolute delight, adding an unexpected bonus to an already stunning experience.

Great lookout, I went for sunrise and was amazing! However, generally inferior to Mt Amos lookout but much more comfortable hike!

I'd give more stars if there were! With loads of sunshine, today was a perfect day to view the perfect Wineglass Bay from the Lookout. The shades of alluring blue, immaculately lined by a white beach, was feast for the eyes. The Coles Bay was peeping in ftom the other side of the isthmus. Mt Frecinet and Mt Graham were in the backdrop.
We arrived at around 11.45 am. and all the parking lots were full. We parked about a km away on the roadside and walked up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout trail head. A steady ascent of about 20 mins through a well-marked track, we reached midway and could view the Coles Bay, 9 mile Beach, Dolphin Sands. A further 300 stone steps up greeted us with the magnificent view of Wineglass Bay. The track to come down to the starting point is a little different and has steps instead of continuous descent. We completed all of it in an hour and a half.
There are other trails detailed in the maps at the trailhead with respective times of completion that looked quite accurate.
Overall, the view was totally worth the effort.
Park pass - we got one for two months at the beginning of our tour; so, the park fee was covered.

Need to pay $44 for the daily park fee. Has public toilets and tap water at the entrance before the walk. Make sure you have water! Nice walk up to the top. About 40min and 20min down. Definitely worth it.

Gorgeous view! The walk is decent incline, lots of steps but definitely doable! Our two kids 6 and 9 did it. Took about 20mins each way and the walk is really nice with views out the other side to Coles Bay.

It got more cloudy every step we took so we didn’t get much views. The walk up was ok, not too easy, there are steps and slopes.

The lookout walk was amazing. Approx 400 steps up to the lookout, but definitely worth the effort. We had to take rests to get get up to the lookout, we went in the morning which was a good call because the weather turned and the view was not as great, as it was when we reached the lookout.

First of all, come prepared if you will be doing the Beach hike, it’s a little difficult while climbing up (or going down based on how comfortable you are). I don’t have issues climbing down, but going up due to my allergic conditions.

Here are the details:

The Lookout:

Easy to Mod based on your endurance. I was able to reach the lookout in/under 38-45 minutes with a few stops to take pictures and rest.

From there, I decided to go to the Beach at last minute.

The Beach:
- Reached the beach in 21 to 23 minutes, only 1-2 a quick breaks.
- Was carrying 500 + 750 ml water, cap/hat, Sweater/Jacket/umbrella/raincoat/poncho, energy bars, and other things to capure the views
- As it was cloudy, didn’t have to drink a lot of water but take precautions in summer (and during winter and rainy season).
- Hiking up was challenging to me, did it in 48 minutes with many stops. Literraly there are so many stairs/steps.
- An athleic or a strong person will be able to do it in 45-60 minutes.
- Saw 2-3 wild Wallabies and that’s it
- Last suggestions: Know your limits, don’t rush and run. Pack in, pack out, PLEASE.
- Loved how Tasmanian and Australian governments are taking care of the nature. I wish it was the same thing in USA and India.

Lastly, water avalable near parking. Restrooms available at the parking and on the beach.
