Tracks are very well maintained, several options for walks, there are options for a short walk to viewing points or a longer half day hike. I’d recommend doing the loop to Wineglass Bay then Hazards Beach, took us about 4 hours to complete. Nice beaches to swim in too! Lots of wallabies around.

Spectacular views at the Wineglass Bay lookout. Well made paths, with plenty of rest points. Views from lighthouse also impressive.

I can’t understand why this place isn’t more famous than every other national park in Australia. It’s so well maintained by Parks & Wildlife Tasmania, and has the best views and scenery in the country. The walks vary from quick and easy to long and challenging so there’s something for everyone. With views you won’t get anywhere else in the world.

Lovely place, lots to see & do. Long or short walks available depending on what you want. The beach was great to walk along. The lodge was very accommodating.

It's a bit of a drive in and out, but of you love good nature scenery then this is your place. Visit the lighthouse, it's worth the drive and just a short walk from the carpark with great photo ops. Wineglass Bay lookout is an uphill walk and even if your mildly fit is doable for the fantastic views. There's a better view from the other walk but you do need to be fit and have good weather.

A stunning place! The trees, wildlife and beaches are all amazing. So many different environments to explore. If you can, do the 11km Wineglass Bay, Isthmus Track and Hazards Beach walk loop. It's well worth the effort.

Amazing place, weather was great when we went so we went up mid morning, definitely worth the view!

The views were amazing. If we came in early winter or late autumn the longer hikes would be more doable ( too hot in summer- it's early Feb). We hiked the easiest track( 3 km round trip) and it was uphill to the look out. The track was very well maintained and even older individuals can complete the walk. Just pace yourself and bring water. Hiking poles make the trek easier.

Amazing views from the lighthouse. Richardson beach is a calm stretch of beach and a good place to have a relaxing dip.

Don’t miss this place if you like trails, bushwalking, scenic views, mountains, birds and wildlife. Long walk but not hectic. Heaps of spots to stop and rest. Kids friendly, as you will see walkways built with high railings for safety. Great views all around the walk. Doesn’t take long time to complete the circuit but make sure you carry water bottle. No issues with parking. Saw heaps of aged people also enjoying the walk. Carry jackets as it can be windy and a bit cold, if you are not used to typical Tassie climate.

Great national park with walks of all difficulties and spectacular views. Very nice! A reminder that overtourisim is detrimental to the local area. Please stay within marked tracks only and do NOT feed wildlife. Help keep Freycinet special for years to come.

The hike to Wineglass Bay lookout is demanding. Lots of steps, but worth it. The same if going down to the beach. Just do it. There is a toilet at the beach which has space to change if swimming in the ocean.

Easy walk, but budget 1.5 hours due to photo taking time and navigating around people). Realistically about a 25 minutes walk up and about 10-15 return without too much exertion (at least for us - middle age but fit). It's meant to be a one way path (way up is different to way to car park), but we saw a number of people go the wrong way around...

Well worth the views but no one was at the beach so we gave that a skip.

One hell of a view at the top of the climb. I did think the entrance fee is steep considering the entrance fees of other national parks around Australia. Around $40ish dollars for two people to do one hike.

Simply a must-see for any Tasmanian tourists. Beautiful views, super clean, and not busy at all. Wineglass walk up was medium effort. Didn’t do the one to the beach with 1000 steps. Did three other easy ones, all with different and stunning vistas.

Absolutely stunning scenery and bushwalking. Tracks are well maintained . Wineglass Bay was beautiful, it was too windy and cold to swim...but a few people were. There were quite a few steps to get up. We also went to Hazards Beach which was a bit more exposed .highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful place, its a MUST see if you come to Tassie. We did the 1.5hr return walk. There are lots of steps (& places to sit & catch your breath!) But well worth it. You need the National Parks pass also.

A must go place in #Tasmania. You will find serenity at its peak. Pristine Pacific Ocean and clean beaches will make your day.

Went to the visitor centre, staff were really helpful and had loads on information.
Then did a walk up to the wineglass bay lookout. The walk was super well signposted and the path is very well maintained. And the view is absolutly stunning.
The only downside we found is the lack of drinking water taps. There is a hold coin donation water tap at the visitor centre, and a rap at the start of the wineglass bay walk. But that is all.
But other than that, the park is fantastic.

We undertook the circular 11 km walk. The views are magnificent. The walk is classed as moderate but we found the going easy. Neither of us are hardened walkers and we loved it. I would do it again and again just for the views and magnificent beaches along the coast. Dont forget your swimwear.
