This campsite was just amazing. It’s already located in a beautiful area but still well maintained makes this a perfect site for camping. I’ve been around the world and this site is the most beautiful and peaceful site I’ve ever been. Facilities were good and clean, gas station, post office, laundry, supermarket are at your service. They have StarLink internet but you have to stay close to it for those who cannot live without internet.

What a wonderfull campground! In a beautifull landscape with very cosy spots we stayed longer than we planned. Mark and Janelle, and also their team, were fantastic hosts. They told us everything about their campground and the wildlife around. They came to tell us when a Cassowary walked in the campground. We saw these wonderfull, rare and prehistoric birds three times passing our spot. We saw wonderfull birds and butterflies. Janelle, Mark and team: thank you soo much for your hospitality! We will never forget you and your wonderfull campground!

This is the prettiest and most well kept caravan park we’ve stayed at. Stunning grounds with spotless facilities. Mark, the owner, is a ripper guy too, and constantly working on the grounds to make it beautiful.

Absolutely magic place. The lady running the shop and gas station was also sorting check-ins for the park. She was totally calm and helpful even though it was really busy. What a professional! The park was well laid out and maintained and the gardens were stunning.

Arrived at the rainforest village Park just before closing one afternoon without having a booking, but the owner kindly squeezed us in for the night. Purchased some essentials we had forgotten to pack from the convenience store on the campground (huge range, very reasonable prices!). The facilities on the grounds are exceptional and immaculately kept. Great kitchens and bathrooms / showers that make you think you're staying in a modern apartment! Went for a walk around the camp in the morning and was blown away by the beauty of the property itself and its surroundings. Couldn't help take out the camera to get some snaps. Pics don't do justice! Mark, who with his wife owns the park, stopped by the van as I was having breakfast and had a chat. He gave us some great tips and local knowledge, including recommending various Forrest walks, swimming holes and waterfalls. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Definitely hope to stay here again

Would like to thank Janelle and her husband for having us staying on their property Daintree Rainforest Caravan Park. Highly recommend for everyone to stay here to fully experience the forest, with its creatures great and small, the scents of plants animals and rain foresty aroma. We camped on the mountain view. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be back. 😀.ps little children's play ground NATURE they get dirty 😁, teenagers retreat they get to sleep in their tents and parents back to basics good company with camp-fire, food and a bit of pick me up Martini's and beer etc. 😁

We stayed for four nights. Just one full day we spent on the campsite without going out anywhere. On our next visit, we decided to spend four days on this camp without visiting anywhere. Such is the nature of peace and tranquillity in this place.
It was great to experience the kindness of the staff and owners which has become rare these days. Also, Mary the Cassowary princess visited our site.
We camped in Mountain view campsite. We were lucky not to be hit by rain. They also have sheltered sites.

Absolutely stunning campsite in the Daintree. Myself and my partner have camped all the way up the coast from Brisbane, and this has been out favourite site by far. Beautiful scenery, new and clean amenities and the most friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. We will be recommending this campsite to anyone and everyone, we had such a great stay and are sad to leave!

Wow! After our long road trip from Darwin to Brisbane via Cape Tribulation this was one of our favourite stop over places. The park was beautiful, tucked into the rainforest and the views from up the hill were jaw dropping. Amenities were very good with the camp kitchen and communal fire pit and the toilet and laundry facilities were very clean. It was handy having the store at the front for those little supplies you need. I could have stayed here forever!

Lovely spot! Clean toilets and showers, decent sized camp kitchen and a swing to boot. The views are gorgeous and the owners are lovely. We only stayed here one night as we were passing through however we would come back. Thanks!

What a place to stay! We stayed one night and came back a few days later and great experiences both time. Good chats with the people who worked there, including the owner. Awesome camp kitchen, fire pit, tree swings and green lawns. Sites were spacious. 100% recommended and would be back if we are ever here again. Oh, and bathroom was spotless!

I cannot really find words to describe this place. It is just so beautiful. My highlights were the big fig trees at the star gazers field with a view to Thornton Peak (?) and a wild roaming but friendly cassuary. I really enjoyed all the noises at night (in the safety of my camper lol) and in the morning.
Wifi connection could be a little stronger where we stayed (at the other end of the wifi station) but I still want to give 5 stars!

We have enjoyed everything about our 5 night stay here. Beautifully cared for and maintained park with the backdrop of spectacular mountains. Mark and Janelle are terrific hosts.

OMG definitely stay here!
We came from the rainy south and into the rainforest!
Upgraded to the sheltered area and was perfect for when the downpour came in.
Facilities 10/10!
If it's a dry night you can light to firepit!
Waking up in the morning to beautiful green hills and views, including a tree swing and cassowaries!!

For those wanting to see cassowary's up close come here! The facilities are fine and cheap for a camp ground, nice and small but quiet and friendly. Within 30 minutes of waking up i saw a few cassowary's up close and personal, the chicks were comfortable enough to walk right round me at one point which i thought in itself was amazing. Do recommend and will stay again!

We loved our stay at the Daintree rainforest village. Mark and Tim were so friendly and helpful. This is a great place for families our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Can’t wait to come back.

Very nice caravan park - beautiful surroundings, great camp kitchen, and the most amazing swings on a couple of the trees!!

This is the most beautifully landscaped park I've visited. Very natural, lucous and inviting. Large and bright amenities too. Its halfway between the ferry and Cape Tribulation- very central. Lovely hosts. You'll love it. No, I'm not related to the owner lol.

Stopped here on my way heading back south from Cape Tribulation for one night. There are powered and low-powered sights, water, toilets, laundry, kitchen, store and fuel available for your needs. View from the hill is beautiful for the surrounding area and there's a little bit of a signal up there too! Mark and Janelle were really lovely and helpful, felt I could ask any questions I needed if you wanted advice on where to head next. Also was told to fill up on my water as it's all drinkable and sourced from under the mountain so it's beautifully pure!
