Such an amazing experience! My friend and I arrived in the evening and had the steak dinner at the lodge (which we ordered beforehand) and it was absolutely mouthwatering. The breakfast was quite the gastronomical experience as well. The staff were super kind and gave us really good recommendations - it felt like the staff and guests blended in as one community. Our room was beautiful (especially the shower with the rainforest view) and very comfortable to sleep in. If you want a once in a lifetime experience (for a reasonable price) then I highly the Daintree Wilderness Lodge!

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and had the most wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and so beautiful. It’s small and private and quiet, right in the middle of the rainforest. The staff are fantastic. Shout out to Kat who did our check in and out, she was lovely. Also Marco who was around each day for breakfast and dinner. He has incredible customer service and great local knowledge and advice.
The food was wonderful as well, such fresh fruit and ingredients! I’ll definitely be staying there whenever I visit the Daintree again. 12/10.

Beautiful cabin secluded in the rainforest. We saw a cassowary as soon as we arrived only meters from us which was very cool. Restaurant was amazing, calamari was the best we'd ever had. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice accommodation in the middle of the rainforest. Very friendly staff and a cosy room. It was also a plus that they have their own restaurant in the middle of the rainforest with very good food. The only remark would be that it was hard to regulate the heath of the shower.

Magical place inside the daintree forest.
7 lodge situated inside the forest so that it seems to live in the nature. From the inside the room you can see and feel all the nature around you. Lovely and friendly team everytime ready to help with anything espacially Marco. He has been very kind and very professional! We have loved everything of this place and this experience!

The stay here was absolutely incredible. To be surrounded by the rainforest every morning and night was an incredible experience. Breakfast included was great so I didn’t need to worry, there are awesome choices for dinner also. They have air con and a fan (although wet season I found it was still very very hot because of humidity!)

The family who own the resort are so kind and accommodating it was such a world class experience and I have very high standards! Thank you so much to the team at the wilderness lodge for the unforgettable stay. Beautiful escape, 5 stars and highly recommend.

We stayed in a cabin for a night and it was a pleasurable experience. Right in the middle of the rainforest, your own little cabin amongst 6 others which you can't even see because of the dense foliage. The rain during the night made it even better! The restaurant served a delicious but small meal. Only internet access is via a weak wifi signal at reception but honestly, you really only need your phone for photos. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
If I had to criticise anything, it would be to just give the cob webs a wipe away from the top windows separating the bathroom (not that they bothered me - wasn't there to look at the walls).

We LOVED our stay at Daintree Wilderness Lodge. The place is truly beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Think boutique bungalow surrounded by rainforest, a wonderful place to base yourself for exploring the Daintree, chill and disconnect from the outside world. We ended up dining at the in house restaurant every night of our stay - food was hearty and delicious, and we loved just being able to stroll back to our room after dinner, often with a glass of wine and DVD in hand. Thanks Scott and team for a lovely stay.

Had a truly memorable experience staying at this accommodation. Me and my partner felt very warmly welcomed by both Scott and Daisy. The location is the Daintree rainforest felt so special, close to beautiful walks and beaches to explore. The breakfast was lovely and the dinners were delicious modern Australian. The cabins are so beautiful and comfortable.
A special Australian experience all around.
After covid lockdowns in Melbourne this holiday was long anticipated and expectations were still exceeded.
Thank you to Scott and Daisy.

While booking a cabin at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge online, I thought it was too good to be true. However, the Lodge actually far exceeded our expectations. Daintree Wilderness Lodge is a boutique hotel, with only 7 wooden cabins, each one having its own attached bathroom. Our bathroom were very spacious and clean. Each cabin is quite large and is connected to the reception/breakfast area through an elevated boardwalk. Each cabin is away from the next cabin, so privacy is not an issue. The Lodge is located in the middle of the forest and yet is so easily accessible by car (no need for a 4x4). Our cabin had a little skylight too which meant that during the day, there was no need to switch on any lights, and in the light you could see quite a few stars even with the dense forest canopy.
Daintree Wilderness Lodge is a family-run establishment. Scott, who overseas the running of the hotel, is friendly, super helpful and kind. He gave us some great suggestions and advise so that we could make the most of the Daintree. Many people visit Daintree only as a day-trip, but I honestly feel that that does no justice to the majesty of the forest. We were there for 3 nights, but perhaps one more day would have been nice. After a long day of walking and trekking, it was great to just be in the hotel and wind down. While you are in the Daintree, consider yourself to be "off the grid". Mobile connection (especially internet) is very flaky throughout the forest, with a few pockets where you get connectivity. In the hotel, there is Wi-Fi in the reception/breakfast area but not in the cabins. There is no live TV connection but there is a TV and a DVD player, and a pretty good selection of DVDs!

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay at the Daintree. If I ever visit again, this is where I would be staying. We even got a discount by booking directly on their website.

We loved our stay at Daintree Wilderness Lodge... a highlight of our trip to Australia. The location is amazing - so peaceful. There were some animals wandering around the property too, including a baby cassowary! The rooms are very private, not overlooked at all, so you can sleep with the curtains open. The room was spotlessly clean and stocked with tea/coffee. The food was great (remember to order your dinner ahead of time), and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable for things to do in the area. Would love to make it back here some day!

WOW! What a perfect spot for a honeymoon! Every room is like a private sanctuary in the middle of the rainforest. Even the shower has a magical view. I'm not sure how they managed to serve such great food but every meal was delicious. If they have crocodile spring rolls on the menu you have to try them.

My partner and I stayed here as a wedding gift from friends. We absolutely loved it! The shower was such a cool feature, the room was beautiful and the staff super friendly. The food was also delicious, they even made me a special vegetarian meal so I didn’t have to eat the same thing twice :-)
Best place we stayed in the Daintree by far and would definitely recommend.

Daisy and Scott were wonderful hosts from the moment we arrived. Our cabin was delightful. The bathroom was special. Excellent food at the restaurant. The Lodge is close to stunning beaches, lots of walks and safe swimming holes and snorkeling opportunities. The Rainforest is magical.

My partner and I visited in November 2019. Lovely cabins immersed in the middle of the Daintree, surrounded by beautiful greenery and wildlife. My favourite part was the shower which had a clear glass window facing the rainforest. Our hosts were also lovely and gave us a very thorough overview of all the best spots to visit. An all-round tranquil experience which cannot be faulted.

We had a terrific stay at the Daintree Wilderness Lode! If you are looking for comfortable accommodation that makes you feel completely immersed into the rainforest then this is it. Awesome food, lovely staff and we even saw a cassowary in the car park. Highly recommend for those that want to explore the daintree, love the outdoors and want to disconnect for a night or two.

Beautiful location. Unique little cabins with part glass roof situated well amongst the greenery. When it rains everything comes alive. The owner the next morning cooked us a beautiful breaky and mapped out everywhere worth exploring. This was my favourite accommodation of the entire trip. Bring food, there’s no shops around but you can order dinner at the hotel if you tell them in advance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is beautiful and secluded, like no other place I've been before. I think I enjoyed it more and more each day as I got used to the Daintree spirit and could really appreciate the magic and the surroundings.

The rooms are so fitting to the Daintree; rustic, wooden, cosy and welcoming. They have aircon, ceiling fan, fly screens on the windows, tv, mini fridge, kettle etc.

Bathroom is beautiful with a window looking out over the forest from the gorgeous shower.

Breakfast order is taken the day before and is brought out as soon as you arrive, beautiful fruit platter to start, and then very generous portions for main. You can book for dinner as well which is useful as there aren't a lot of choices in the area, food was great.

Last but certainly not least, we fell in love with the managers and have to give a special thank you to Margaret as we had a lot of laughs with her and looked forward to seeing her each morning at breakfast. Nothing was a problem, even when we locked ourselves out one night haha. Margaret went out of her way to tell us about hidden gems we should see and you could tell genuinely loves sharing this knowledge and ensuring you have a great experience during your time in the Daintree.

If you want a truly magical nature/rainforest experience in a beautiful, secluded part of the world, I recommend this place. If you want a resort with lots of amenities and room service etc, this may not be the right choice for you, but you would miss out on all that it does offer ❤

Such friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are beautiful and simply stocked. The dinner we had on site was just delicious and they even packaged breakfast for us the night before seeing as we would be leaving early. Would 100% recommend if your looking for a nice relaxing getaway

I loved our stay. This place is roughly in the middle of everything too. The staff are amazing and were completely accommodating. I was impressed by the rooms too. The pictures they have online just don't show enough justice. We were able to wake up to the sound of birds and seen a few right out our door. Few frogs graced us with their presence too. I highly recommend this place over any North of the River crossing (23 dollars rt). I think there are a total of 8 cabins so you will not be around a bunch of noise/people either. Complete relaxation. Do the river tour with "Mic" he knows his stuff!
