Daintree Rainforest Retreat

Hi dear Peter I am sorry you feel that I didn't want to help you but when you arrived I had told you I have cancelled the booking more than a month ago and agdoa should have informed you and they didn't not. So once again it wasn't my fault. Your booking Didn't have a phone number to call on it or any details other than your name.
I really do apologise for your experience but I am not a travel agent so I have no responsibility to try and book you another room, I gave you numbers of multiple places and directions as well. and your son didn't need to step around my counter and threaten me.

I am truly sorry and hope you have a great time in the Daintree rainforest.

Perfect Location. Best night sleep listening to the Rainforest sounds.

Made dinner in the well equipped BBQ area. Rooms are spacious and very clean.

Very little to no phone reception but not needed as there is so much nature to “tune into”.

Great stay and will recommend to everyone.

We - me, my sister and my father - stayed at the Daintree Rainforest Motel for three nights and have enjoyed every second of it to the fullest! The place has this authentic jungle feel. The manager, Cameron and his dog Kodie are truly amazing! The rooms are specious and modern, but can use a little more tlc maintenance wise. Looking at what the new manager already managed to do (on his own with no staff) to the place in only a few months time is impressive! He has a real heart for the place, making it feel like a home away from home. In the evening we sat together with other guests, chatting our time away and made friends for life.

I would go back!

This place was everything that I had hoped for. We stayed for 7 nights, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would come back in a minute given the chance. Travis (manager) is a champ and extremely welcoming. The pool was a massive bonus. Some might say that the lack of air conditioning is an issue but for me it was fine. Travis' help with organising our activities while in the Daintree was fantastic and he seems to have a great knowledge of the restaurants in the area. It is going to be hard to top our stay here.

Staying at the Daintree Rainforest Retreat was a true retreat in the heart of the rainforest. The accommodation was very comfortable and the environment was stunning.
Service is exceptional and the experience is amazing.
Highly recommended and will definitely be returning in the future.

Great place, totally beyond my expectation. Host is super nice and passionate. Room is very clean and tasteful. Dats network and WiFi are challenging here, but I found it good to be occasionally disconnected from the outside world to truly enjoy nature.

What an amazing place to have a holiday! The staff at the DRR really do go above and beyond - with great friendly advice on where you can go and the things you can do. They saved us (a pregnant mum, dad, 2 kids (2 and 5)) so much time and really helped us make the most of our time in the Daintree. I will be taking my family back. The retreat has clean rooms with comfortable beds and its location makes the perfect base for exploring the Daintree rain forest. The DRR makes visiting this remote and amazing area easy, even with a young family. Make sure you bring supplies - the local stores have limited stock and can be expensive.

Great motel with clean, comfortable rooms. The owner is very welcoming and helped us plan our trip around the Daintree. The location is great as it is right across the road from Cow Bay Hotel and a great base to explore the Daintree.

Very genuinely friendly service. Very helpful. Great place to stay for a family and start a journey through the Daintree and Cape Trib. BBQ amenities were clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Beatiful place, first time I arrive and I see the place just like in the pictures. Travis was so nice to us and he helped us to make the most of our trip to Daintree. Definitly would recommend.

Thoughorly enjoyed my one nighy stay here. Not a lot of mobile service in the hotel but a short walk accross the road will give you plenty so don't worry.

The motel staff are professional and the rooms are clean

You do not need to ask what to do in cape tribulation, the staff will tell you. Very quite and nice place to stay! Would recommend it anytime!
