The Gillies Cafe & Bar - Barbagallo's Delicatessen

Just had the most incredible late lunch before they closed at 3pm! Kitchen was closed so we had the Lamb & rosemary filo with a side beetroot pumpkin feta salad. Sooooo fresh and yummy! Ate at a picnic table a short walk away under a big tree overlooking the rolling hills and cow paddocks

I ate here twice during my stay in Eacham. The people were friendly and the food was good! Wasn't too keen on the amount of flies if you're staying and eating, but takeaway is always an option!

One of our favourite cafes in the tablelands. Gillies cafe is always a treat for us. Amazing food, coffee and phenomenal service.

Thanks to the staff here who are so wonderful and cheery. Good vibes. Great coffee! As I like mine weak they really listened and made it perfectly. The salmon hash is delicious too. Will be back again.

Amazing sandwiches from the deli, super friendly, they brought out some ham for my pup because she was being well behaved

The food here is fantastic! Fresh, modern and innovative! The space is great too with lots of new seating, mostly outside, and some inside options as well. Worth a visit, especially if you’re from Cairns like me and on your way to the markets.

Often pass by thinking that I should stop in one day and give it a try. On a day trip today with a friend, so finally did! Had the Philly Cheesesteak: delicious and very filling (and a wee bit messy!), so won't be having dinner tonight! Mistakenly asked for tomato sauce for the chips expecting them to be the usual standard fare. Sauce was unnecessary as the chips were perfectly seasoned and very tasty. Not standard fare at all. My friend enjoyed her meal too. Both of us were glad we dropped by and have decided to return in a few weeks or so, so my friend can try the Philly!

After a morning of exploring the Tablelands, I stumbled across this venue on the way back to cairns. The bacon and egg roll was sensational! Friendly service and great range of menu items or salads and quiches. I can understand why it was absolutely packed :)

What an amazing find to end our stay in the tablelands. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, service was excellent and the food was the best we have experienced in a long time, 5 star quality. Thank you for a wonderful evening of fine dining. We can't wait to return.

Amazing place for breakfast and lunch or just a snack. The service is outstanding and everyone is very friendly. I had the Buddha bowl with falafel and it was delicious.

Great cafe,called in by chance on Friday for lunch which was great. Ordered fish and chips,club sandwich and 2 Acia bowls,all was great,infact the Acia bowls were so good we called in again on the sunday morning for Breakfast before heading home.
Do yourself a favour and call in when you're in the area,or even go out of your way to get there and enjoy this place.

Beautiful place! The food and coffee was 5 star! The staff were super helpful to my whole family and really went above to make it a beautiful day on our way up to the falls! Loved it!
