Was a beautiful spot to have a dip in on our drive back into Cairns after waterfall chasing all day. Very nice to float in

Very easy walk around the lake with some amazing trees and sneaky places along the way for a great photo. There is a fresh water crock in the lake but apparently it keeps away from the swimming area 🤞.

Such a delightful trail around the lake. The trail is just over 5km, mostly flat, with boardwalks and beautiful rainforest surrounding the whole area.

Definitely worth the trip. We'll formed 3 kilometre path circumnavigates Lake Eacham. Some of the path is bitumen and likely Wheelchair friendly. It is an amazing walk, with the opportunity for the quieter walker to see and hear native fauna. The picnic and toilet facilities are excellent. Covered and open tables, and plenty of grass. Swimming area is quite large, with a viewing platform. Access roads are good for all vehicles, with plenty of parking for cars, buses and caravans. Good turn circle road.

Lake Eacham is very beautiful and great place to swim. Water is clean and warm +25C. We have not seen any crocks. Parking is free, but it is better to come earlier to secure a spot. There is a great rainforest walk around the lake, 45 min on a shaded path.

We found it amazing, the lake water was warm, the place has bathrooms, lots of parking spaces. We were able to go all the way around the lake (we had fins and a snorkel) you can see a sign of crocodiles but supposedly they are harmless and for sure they are since we are still alive! 🙃

We went on the Lake Barrine boat ride. It was pouring down with rain, but we had a fantastic time. We were still able to see the animals despite the downpour. I think it almost added to the excitement. We have been on the boat before in sunny weather and of course it was beautiful. However, there were not many people out when we were last there, so we had the boat to ourselves.

Love visiting Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine. Great swimming spots. Walks around the lakes are a must if you have time. Lake Barrie Tea Rooms are relaxing even if you have to wait for your order

Picture perfect weather, butterflies, birds, rat kangaroos, the amazing rainforest walk and serene lake. Just be mindful that it is snake season and stay safe. Otherwise the view and hospitality at the teahouse is just as much worthwhile. Breath-taking views!

Absolutely stunning. This is a true natural beauty. Walks take you through the rainforest on the edge of the stunning turquoise lake. Watch the turtles and fish through the crystal clear water. Swimming areas set up. Bbq facilities and toilets. Heaps of places and ideas on Coddiwompling Oz.

Such a hidden gem in the Atherton Tablelands. The boat house is a must visit. Food is great, we had devonshire tea this visit, fresh baked fluffy scones, yummy local jam and fresh whipped local cream. Lovely gardens and quaint building. Would be worth more visits.

Beautiful national park with plenty of visible fish from the shallow water and platforms. The water was clear blue and the walking path was easy to navigate
