Hi wantoks! This is one of my favorite spots in Yungaburra, Spence and Murphy is a vibe for all who are looking, collecting, passing, and settling. Thousands of books in store with listed books on biblio, they ship all over the world and house lost books. There really is something for everyone. I'd been looking for a title for months and flew in to the region just to ask for them to help find it. They really did their best and while they couldn't locate a copy, they told me other places to looks for it. I did not walk away wholly empty handed. It must've been the blaring jazz bouncing off the tin roof but I ended up picking up a book on European history and a Ulli Beier book.

What an awesome shop, the lady I spoke to was fantastic, couldn't do enough to help, we couldn't find exactly what I wanted but had a great conversation with a lovely lady and found some other great books to buy. If you are in the area and have a bit of spare time drop in and take a look around this awesome little shop.

Fantastic 2nd hand book shop, it is a trove of wonders! There is something for everyone and we found some real treasures. Wonderful service and everything is very reasonably priced. I'm sure we will be back very soon!

They have a terrific collection of books at good prices.

Most extraordinary book shop. Books almost to ceiling but ask about specific category and you will be taken straight to the books they have. Excellent service.

We stumbled across this lovely bookshop by accident and found a real treasure,simply millions of book,and a lovely atmosphere,also a lovely couple running the store I recommend a visit.
