Copper Bench

Had breakkie here today and was super impressed. It's got a great relaxed atmosphere - and a very "wood lodge" type vibe inside. The food was exceptional- by far the best fritters I've ever had. The only very slight negative was the wait times for coffee and food. But it was a busy Saturday morning so understandable. Will definitely go back.

Enjoyed my time at the Copper Bench. It has a lovely ambience - not bright and harsh, but calming and relaxing.
I appreciated the leather seats and clean table.
The caramel slice I had was very nice.
The coffee is good; robust and satisfying.

Since me and my now husband first met, this place has been our ultimate destination. The morning dates, a great coffee to begin the day, friend's catch-up, birthday celebration or a hangover cure. The food at this place is amazing.The food here is exceptional, and as someone who enjoys almond milk coffees, this remains my top choice for a superb cup of bliss. We always get greeted with a lovely smile and amazing service. Love love love it. Please try eggs benedict with spicy Hollandaise sauce, this is one of our fav meal.

The owner of this place has gotta be the nicest person on the planet. The cafe is gorgeous, and they are extremely good at altering their menu to the best of their ability, if you have a lot of food restrictions. Love love love this place, and will be going here over and over and over again, as I already have.

Copper Bench the perfect escape for brunch. The staff are friendly and offer very efficient service. The Coffee is great beautiful meals and the ambient atmosphere will entice you to stay.

My wife and I came here for a lunch date with our infant boy on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Amazing food, amazing coffee and drinks, amazing service and amazing ambience.
Not to mention the prices and portions are perfectly matched. Feel like you’re getting your money’s worth and then some!

So wonderfully surprised and left feeling so satisfied physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Everything is wonderfully thought out and we’ll definitely come back! New favourite spot 👌🏼

Our party of 6 just enjoyed the most amazing breakfast here at The Copper Bench. I have walked past here so many times & never been fully aware of its existence due to the narrow frontage, but O M Goodness...once you step inside & enjoy the warmth of the interior and food that was exceptionally cooked you won't want to go elsewhere. This is my new favourite eating spot from here on in. Good job guys!

Could not fault our experience here => very relaxing vibe. Great coffee - full-bodied with a smooth finish. The desserts were delightful too - toasted banana bread (with crispy edges!) and an apple & rhubarb crumble cup 😋 Only wish we lived here, as this cafe would be our no.1. Thank you!

The owner and staff are friendly and pleasant. The purple yam cake is fluffy and tastes good. Carefully selected interior and a broad menu.

This is my favourite café in Toowoomba! The coffee is really good and consistently good too! The sweets in the cabinet are always delicious and there's often cakes that are just a little bit different (e.g Rose and lychee or purple yam). The breakfasts are fantastic with delightful twists on the classics and their lunches are scrumptious. The staff and owner are really friendly and were especially accommodating to me when I had my daughter.

Cool decor, great food and coffee. Staff are super friendly.

The haloumi wrap with house special sauce was outstanding. I have it on good authority that the chicken, cheese and avo toastie is also a great choice.

I appreciate it when an iced latte is delivered with milk and coffee unmixed. This is not just about presentation. With the help of a straw, it allows for the volume of milk to be adjusted by the drinker before mixing, resulting in optimum milk-coffee ratio. (Unfortunately I neglected to take a photo of the unmixed iced latte due to my excitement when it arrived in front of me - my apologies.)

Definitely some copper around the place, and some benches. Did not see a copper bench however. One star deducted for false advertising, but as you know, branding etched onto plates earns a bonus star, bringing us back to a neat five.

First time heading here this morning and what can I say, it won't be the last, that's for sure! Not only were the meals filling and delicious but the coffee and strawberry thickshake are one of the best we've ever tasted. We were able to ask for gluten free and also brioche to turkish bread with no issues. Better yet, we didn't have to pay extra like most cafes do. Wait staff were super friendly and checked in our meals which we were extremely happy with. Can't wait to eat here again
