Had an absolutely amazing time dealing with Adam! He was so easy and didn’t even charge me because it was such a small fix. Went there for a service a few months ago and it was just as easy then- he’s very clear about what needs to be fixed and doesn’t try to charge any more than needed. Definitely recommend!

Our Kia had a fairly significant issue which was dealt with promptly and professionally by Adam. We were effectively 'blown off' by Kia dealerships for an unusual engine noise immediately prior. We then drove straight to Southern Cross Mechanical and Adam was able to diagnose a major problem immediately and had us fixed in a matter of days at a competitive price and with great communication. Glad we found this place and can highly recommend.

I had one day left to get a safety certificate for my car (roadworthy inspection). The guy I had booked failed to turn up and I rang around 6 other places, all who were booked out or unable to fit me in. I stumbled upon southern mechanical, who despite being heavily booked, squeezed me in when hearing of my dilemma. They were prompt, efficient and actually cheaper than most others who were charging above the government price to perform the inspection (beat the others by $20.00). Very grateful to them and wouldn't hesitate to make them my 'go to' for any future car requirements, even though they are further from me that what I'd typically use.

Adam and his team at Southern Cross Mechanical have been amazing to work with over the past 2 years with our Toyota Tarago. After a less than ideal purchase from a less than reputable dealer in Southport, Adam and the team have made us feel like an extension of the family. Always awesome to work with a business that says "Can I replace xyz and take your money? Sure! Do we need to do so now? No, it doesn't need replacing yet". Highly recommended!
