This is my second time here, food is yummy as last time (especially the Bourbon Butterscotch waffles) and the service is even better. Our session waiter & waitress today were super friendly and attentive. Absolutely loved the vibe and energy! We’ll definitely visit again soon!

Food is exactly what you'd expect but the vibes are impeccable. Poor staff are run off their feet on a Sunday, give them a raise. Sitting outside is a joy. So close to queen's park.

Aptly named, this house opposite Queen's Park provides a delightful amount of street noise for those unfortunate enough to be seated on the footpath. Luck of the draw as to where you can find a spot though because this place, while relatively large, is always busy and for good reason. It's a winner. Even in the worst seats on the street you're not neglected at all. Service is equally good for those in the nosebleed. Drink orders taken almost immediately. Correct order of service. I was craving a full English brekky, so accordingly ordered an English brekky tea which let me just say was delightful and I mean 10/10 would sip that pot with Queen Lizzy herself (seriously Liz, hit me up if you're keen). Service asked my preference on milk and sugar. Said no to both to prove how manly I am. Came without sugar but with milk. I guess they knew I wasn't as manly as I'd made out. No full English on the menu, rather there is the Park House Brekky. Weirdly, the full English seems to be becoming an endangered species, having been replaced by the good but not-quite-the-same benedict, so I was happy the Park House Brekky was available. Not that I don't love a good Benny, in fact it's gotta rank second best. Perhaps I'm biased though - England til I die.
The Park House Brekky was great. One small complaint that the hollandaise could have used a bit more boldness in flavour. Probably just a little more seasoning and it would've gained the pop it was craving. Chipolata were stand out of the dish. Love me a herby snag. Also good thickness and toasting on the bread. One perfect runny yolk. One not.
The side of chips? Hot. Crisp. Fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. Excellent chips.
I love nachos. Can be brilliant but if they miss the mark it can be a major let down. These ones were interesting and I use that vague description intentionally. The individual elements were kinda weird and not in a good way. Queso sauce was good but not great and for lack of greatness I suggest sticking with just traditional cheese? Cheese was great and if you can't make it better, don't mess with it. House guac was nice. Kudos. Portion size was generous but sauce was not distributed evenly. Common nacho problem. It's a presentation thing. Everyone groups the elements leading to uneven distribution but nice presentation. The solution is layering. Chips - sauce - chips - meat - topping. Given these few (nit-picky) negatives, imagine my surprise when true synergy was found when enjoying all elements together. Honestly 1+1=5 in this case. All the elements REALLY hit it off together. It was an unexpected delight. My favourite kind of delight.
A few minor minor minor points in this one but in all truth the park house brekky was 5 stars. Not an ounce of disappointment. The nachos were so close but not quite there for me. Definitely worth trying for yourself though, but if you're on the fence between the chos and something else, maybe go the something else.
A closing thought: more than one napkin at a cafe/restaurant would be nice.

We had our lunch at Park House Cafe after visiting Queens park. It was busy lunch time and had our table outside the cafe. Foods was good apart from the long waiting time ( at least 40 mins).

Park House Cafe was only a quick stop for a coffee. We did not have any food. Next time we will. Coffee was good and the staff very friendly. Just thought to let you see what it looks like. A great place across the road from the Park. Perfect place to sit and enjoy your day.

Food was amazing. I called in ahead of time for a table and lucky I did! The place got booked out fairly quickly that they had to turn people away or ask them to wait. Service was lovely and they even let dogs in the outdoor seating which are tables with umbrellas for shade.

Our first visit here and we were very impressed. Customer service was exceptional and they go out of their way to ensure they look after their customers. We asked to share a main meal and they bought out 2 plates with the food on each plate. I haven't ever known another cafe/restaraunt to do this. Beautiful scenery around the place with the gardens/playgrounds across the road. Will definitely visit again next time and will recommend to others.

Lovely setting next to the park, excellent service and delicious food, the park house breakfast hit the spot and the kids enjoyed their croissant and milk shakes. If you are looking for a quiet spot I totally recommend it.

This is a great location for Breakfast. The food is particularly delicious and very good value. Love the outdoor setting as it feels like a garden. Indoor tables are also available.

A beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon on a winters day afternoon. Live music and a cosy warm fire, made for a pleasant afternoon tea of deliciousness. Service was great and the staff very friendly with easy access to on street parking. Next time I will ride my bike, through the beautiful Queens Park.

Had a great breakfast this morning. We didn't have high hopes of being able to eat here as we didn't have a booking, but thankfully they were able to fit us in at a table outside. The meals were reasonably priced with a great variety of options and generous portion size. Coffee was excellent and breakfast was very tasty. Service was also friendly and prompt. We would definitely come back here again.

Upon arriving to Park House Cafe, we seated ourselves (as it is full table service here) and were welcomed by the waitress quickly. We were given the menu and the waitress brought us a bottle of water without us needing to ask.

Lemon, Lime & Bitters was pretty standard (which is good) and the Iced Mocha was really delicious. The food was also really scrumptious. I had the Parkhouse Breakfast and the toast was perfect, everything was cooked well and my fried eggs were not burnt underneath/raw on the top (like some cafes). My partner had the Breakfast Burger, and the presentation of this looks fabulous. The cheesy-scrambled eggs, as they sat, looked really enticing that I regret not having one myself.

Waiting time was fairly quick. The cafe was full, but we only waited about 15 minutes after ordering.
Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

Very nice place. Very kind team and they will do their best to make you feel comfortable. Talk to the team before you take a seat. Got loads of seating in doors and out doors. Nice food options too. Loved the coffee 😀
