I applied for a property... got a random auto text saying hi and then got emails soliciting all sorts of services got offered a free pizza voucher??? But no property.

So if your needs are realestate related try somone else, if u would like a dominoes voucher still dont try these guys( there is a dominoes offers app which is fantastic)

Oliver Hume have no issue contacting you when it suits them, but are basically uncontactable when an issue arises.
Everytime I call there is another reason as to why my property manager isn’t available. No one calls you back. No updates on simple unresolved issues. This is now month 4 heading month 5 of following up regarding this.
Not impressed at all. Poor customer service.

When I moved in to my rental property through Oliver Hume, I was left with a dishwasher that was broken that flooded my kitchen leaving water seeping through the floor for weeks, a bench that was swelling so a kitchen that was not really useable! I did not complain, I did not ask for any discounts to rent or anything along those lines. I was patient while I waited for extended periods of time for the repairers to come and fix it so was literally left with easily over a month with a damaged kitchen bench and unusable dishwasher. I did not complain though because things go wrong. Not everything is going to go to plan everytime. So I gave Oliver Hume the benefit of the doubt and did not take the opportunity to try to screw them or the house owner out of rent, even though I could have and was well within my rights to do so seeing as I was now paying full rent for an incomplete house...!

Recently I had an inspection where I told the lady about a small bit of damage to the wall in the dining room when she got there. I pointed it out and ensured she knew about it so that Oliver Hume as a whole were aware of it and mentioned that I would get it rectified. As any good, respectful human would. I didn't try to hide it or cover it up, I was open and honest about it as that is how I work! Oliver Hume and the owner of the house deserve to know if there was something wrong with the house. An I am fully aware and intend to rectify the issue at my own cost. My child did the damage so I take full responsibility! She left and everything has been fine until I received a breach today out of nowhere! No discussion regarding the damage and no pbhone calls to talk to me about my plans to get it repaired. They went straight to breach! They do this with absolutely evrything! There is no communication. Recently I have been about a week behind in rent. I get paid monthly and have advised them that I would get it caught up and am paying more monthly to get it up to date. Even after I have notified them of this and have put the plan into action, they are still sending breach notices monthly! How about instead of BREACHING ME! You try “COMMUNICATING” with me to understand my position and get an understanding of what I plan to do about it… I’d be better off just not mentioning anything. Maybe I’ll do that from now on! You try to do the right thing by them and they penalise you for it! There has been NO previous discussion regarding the repair, which according to the RTA is supposed to happen “PRIOR” to a breach notice being issued. It states “The property manager/owner and tenant should "discuss" the breach and try to work out a solution (e.g. work out a repayment schedule for rent arrears, or agree on how damage can be fixed).

”If” this does not work a Notice to remedy breach (Form 11) or Notice to remedy breach (Form R11) may be issued.”

This is just another example of a business that does not see us as people but sees us as a commodity to be used and thrown away. the RTA and QSTARS will be hearing from me regarding this.

Terrible real estate. Once you become a tenant they don't care about your requests. They changed the clauses in my contract and didn't notify me, and my property manager Jai-leen Baldwin never pick up phone calls or return them. After sales support on this business is just terrible

*RENTER BEWARE* DO NOT RENT THROUGH THIS REAL ESTATE IF YOU VALUE YOUR PRIVACY. They conduct inspections to their properties WITHOUT notice when you are not home - NUMEROUS TIMES!!!!!!!!!!
And show people through your property WITHOUT NOTICE when you’re not home. I moved out quickly after numerous unlawful entries. Don’t bother following up or asking them to investigate as they will not respond. Very dodgy business!

Oliver Hume Projects Qld are not ethical or honest people to do business with and would not recommend their services. The GM and Project Manager manipulate peoples honest intentions and then scalp the commissions from others hard work. Warning stay away from scumbags in the industry. Avoid OH.
Extremely high staff turnover for good reason. Scammers.

I have had many realestate agents in my life but this place takes the cake for being the worst. Most likely due to the agent themselves rather than the place. but would not recommended, they do not care about their tenants only owners.

I wouldn't recommend this real estate to anyone not even my worst enemy! They are so unprofessional and the behaviour I have dealt from them is disgusting.the property was a bomb as well and they would never fix anything.

Also don't believe them when they say they won't take you to court if you vacate before court because trust me they definitely will!

Also Tracy the "property manager" is rude and will blame you for everything even if its her at fault I will never ever go through this real-estate again.

I highly recommend you steer clear of Oliver hume this one and the one at the coast

Communication is the worst I have ever experienced with a real estate. They never answer the office telephone so you leave a message and they never call back on both office phone and mobile. When I had no luck by phone I tried to email but again no reply. Very unprofessional.

DO NOT USE THIS REAL ESTATE! If I could give zero I would. We were a tenant for one and half years, paid rent on time always, left the property in perfect condition. Broke our lease because after 20 years of renting we could buy a house. Linda from Gold Coast did not advertise our property as break lease or urgent, and put the rent up from 520 to 650, after a month with one person inspecting the house, she put it to 630 and is now taking us to the tribunal for the rent in between hers and her landlords greedy behaviour. They did not mitigate our loss and now expect us to pay for their greed. The landlord is making 2,500 from our break lease in extra rent and the thanks we get is punitive action and possible court. If this is how they treat brilliant tenants I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. The real estate industry should be ashamed, as the housing minister was appalled by increases of 20 percent. Since the beginning of our tenancy Oliver Hume has raised the rent 28.5 percent in a 0.5 vacancy rate area and took 6 weeks to re let our rental. Good to see that great tenants are appreciated by this company. Beware! I have been in conversation with RTA all the way and have done everything right and Oliver Hume still want to drag me through the wringer. I don't care what the reply is, I have RTA advice and I do not feel I have been treated fairly or as a human with rights. Glad I don't have to rent ever again.
