The Wine Emporium

My father and I did the Wine Discovery class and it was fantastic. Rob, who ran the class, provided a great balance of entertaining and informative.

Went for a walkabout in Newstead, and chanced on this little gem. FINALLY a decent wine shop in brisbane. After visiting endless cookie-cutter bottle shops (doesn’t matter the chain, they all have the same stuff), this one finally gave the impression of knowing their stuff, and with a fantastic selection. They excused themselves for “only” having 8 South African wines… and what wines they were! Their port selection, also “disappointing”.. and yet more than all the bottle stores I’ve visited in all of Brisbane. The sound of bottles being uncorked while I was browsing was quite pleasing. Real cork! What a treat. Will definitely be back!

A classic place, so many great wines and awesome location no problem with the parking. The wines are amazing and have reasonable pricing depening on wines. Thank you!

Was not expecting such an exotic mix of local & imported rums. Including Jamaica & Martinique! A tiki lovers dream...

This business has an amazing selection you will not find anywhere else. What is even more impressive is the people. Jio and Jackson have been amazing over the last 2 years and their recommendations and product knowledge is excellent. The selection is so extensive and they are located conveniently in Gasworks.

As well as having a very good selection of wine, this Wine Emporium has an extensive and eclectic selection of craft beer.

Chloe was excellent and processed our order with high competence and did exactly what she said she would and Charlie was helpful too as our online experience was not successful so we really appreciated Chloe’s customer service AND thank you for the free delivery to Clontarf we will shop with The wine Emporium again thank you

I did the first night of the 2 night champagne course last night and wow! What an experience! Bernadette was so knowledgeable and lovely, she made the 3 hour evening fly by. Zachary did incredibly generous pours! The course is amazing value for money. Bring on the vintages next week I say. Would highly recommend.

The staff make this shop what it is. They are friendly, helpful and invest in what you are trying to buy.

The prices are a bit more than other alcohol retailers/franchises, but their middle and top shelf alcohol selection makeup for this.

They helped me pick out the perfect bottle of wine on numerous occasions. Whether it be for an anniversary, birthday, or the correct bottle to go with dinner.

I am very pleased to share a wonderful experience we had recently when dealing with the Wine Emporium. As usual, I left my Christmas shopping to the last minute and was frantically looking for half a dozen Zalto Burgundy Wine glasses for a gift for my wife. We are located on the Sunshine Coast and no one stocked them locally. When we contacted Rob at the Wine Emporium, he went above and beyond to make sure we found these glasses and that, importantly, they arrived at our place before Christmas. He got in touch with the distributor for us and arranged a courier to deliver them to our place - free of charge. They arrived two days before Christmas and my wife absolutely loves them. So, thank you very much Rob and team. This kind of service is practically non existent these days. We will be back!

Great selection of beer, wine and spirits. The team are all exceptionally helpful and very friendly!

They go for more off mainstream wines etc here. It is great to try new ones after talking to the knowledgeable friendly staff. Lots of wine tastings held in the store too, get yourselves onto the mailing list so you don't miss out.
