Bargain Barrel | The Barrel Place | Brisbane

We hired 6 full barrels, 24 stools and 12 planters (that we tipped upside down and used as low tables) for our wedding. The products were beautiful and the staff were excellent to deal with. Next step. Purchasing some stuff for home!

We used Bargain Barrel Hire for our wedding recently and we couldn't be more thrilled! The equipment was amazing - everyone loved the giant games and the arcade barrel always had someone waiting for a turn. It fitted in with our theme perfectly and I loved the timber slab that he hired for the bar. The prices were very reasonable especially compared with other wedding hire companies, and they had a great range.
But the thing I loved most about this company was their absolutely wonderful customer service! I asked lots of questions and everyone I dealt with was more than friendly, including helping us load the equipment onto the trailer! They were flexible with their pickup and drop off, and you get the equipment for the weekend so no rush trying to get it back the morning after the wedding. They were also flexible with my order, allowing a last minute change to a hire item which I couldn't be more grateful for. They really make you feel valued, this is a great family business!
Once my bank account recovers from the wedding I'll be out there to purchase something so we can always have a reminder of our wonderful wedding :)

I've been looking for one person wooden hot tub in Brisbane area, even in Australia for a long time, unfortunately I couldn't find one. Somewhere I got an idea that wine barrel would do. I googled Gumtree, I found Bargain Barrel in Forestdale. I immediately contacted Storm, paid a visit, bought a half barrel (due to space issue) straight away.

It's been an pleasant experience of buying. we arrived there on Sunday morning without an appointment . Storm welcomed us and showed us various barrels and helped us to decide the right size. He picked one whole barrel and cut it according to our size, then he put the screws on and drilled an drain hole on the bottom as we required. now we have a perfect hot tub. However we couldn't put it into our car, Storm and his lovely little daughter offered us a free drop off to our place.

We love our half wine barrel, it is a very good quality oak barrel. There are lots of health benefits of hot baths in a wooden barrel, very cheap form of hydrotherapy at home, besides it saves lots of water too. I would recommend Storm and his barrels to anyone who wants to buy one.

Highly recommend hiring any party equipment through them. We hired 12 beanbags and a giant Jenga set. The day before the party they advised me that the beanbags weren't good enough to rent to us, but they already had a solution for me. I am so incredibly grateful they rang with a solution and did not try and make it the customer's problem. I love how proactive they are. Drop off and pick up were amazing and easy. Hired 50 Barrels for an outdoor markets/beer garden. Service, Communication and Product were all A1.
Barrels were sturdy, perfect height for dry bars and excellent quality.
Would highly recommend for functions, will be using you guys again.

Ive bought a few items off these guys over the last 5 years. The barrel we've had for 5 years and its still great. We got a bench seat and wagon wheels, all still proudly displayed and in use. Its not just great quality unique pieces that we like, its the friendly service and attention to customer care. Top marks guys....

Absolutely beautiful show room and top bloke working there. They do unique furniture with barrels that are high quality and look amazing. They have such a wide range of barrels to pick. He even let us pick from the barrels that wernt refinished yet and gave us a timeframe they will be done by. The things this place can do with barrels you would not believe. Id highly recommended shopping here over somewhere else because they care what they do and care about their work. Will shop there again for sure.

Very easy to deal with. They let us preview the furniture at their warehouse in Rocklea on a weekend. Delivery was prompt. Barrels, stools and wagon wheels all looked great at our engagement party. Would recommend.

Purchased a hardwood bench for the garden. Gorgeous wood with a rustic style. Whilst choosing this, we saw the barrel bar-will definitely be back for that! Considering the barrel coffee table too!
Great service and great craftsmanship!

I wanted something to make my office's entertaining area a bit more inviting, Storm was great working out the just the right combo of barrels, wagon wheel and planters. What was once a drab unused space is now a great spot for staff to relax at beer o'clock! Funnily enough I now have clients and suppliers dropping in 'for a quick chat' right around that time on a regular basis!
