Oyster Cove Inn

Had a beautiful lunch in Oyster Cove Inn.The views are fantastic from your table and the staff are so friendly. The meal was incredible but was way too big and way too pricey. I would rather have a standard size meal and pay less but they insist on piling so much food on the plate it is difficult to finish it. I recommend trying the lunches there if you don't mind the higher price.

We dropped into this hotel for dinner with a local friend one evening whilst visiting Tasmania. A great view from the hotel and we enjoyed an excellent meal with good service.

Bit dated inside, but great tasting food and good portion sizes.

Went here for dinner straight from the Bruny Island ferry. Lovely location overlooking the marina, really friendly staff and quick service, even though this was a Friday evening and it was quite busy. I had oysters and the grilled scallops and it was all very tasty. Would recommend.

Popped in for lunch, staff were very accommodating for our group, food was great, the view is spectacular.

Great restaurant with local produce. I can attest to lovely fish, chips and salad; tasty schnitzel and veg; and a beautifully cooked steak with chips and salad. Arrive early as kitchen closes by 8:30. Lovely view over the bay and marina and great staff.

Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The service was incredible. Me and my partner enjoyed our parmi + salad and chips and our Mexican parmi with salad and chips. Both were large serves and even the salad was delicious. We left very satisfied and happy tonight. We will be sure to come again ♡

Wonderful lunch was enjoyed by all five of our family. Very large servings, cooked to perfection. The waitress was very patient and helpful. All in all a lunch to remember and recommend.

Lunch was just outstanding for 4 people. And the waitress was so friendly and eager to serve us. It made a change from some restaurants that don't really want you there. Fantastic experience, even Bert the travelling beetle loved the views.

Had a lovely time at Oyster Cove Inn today. Wonderful outlook over the marina and Bruny ferry. I was with a group of 14 people and everyone enjoyed their meals. Meals came out quite fast. Very lovely waitress. Thank you We will be back once again 😀

A group of 20 of us did a Bus Trip 2 Oyster over Inn sat. Ambience overall in Dining room & main Bar was welcoming, warm & clean. Everyone's meals were presented well, certainly enough on plates. Staff were friendly & efficient. We'd definitely recommend. Thankyou Ron Tabor & Staff for an AMAZING experience.

Great place to have lunch. No gaming! Looking out over the marina. Good food & service

This place full of atmosphere and a wonderful view of the water and the boats. Food is top range seafood. Table service is excellent. Good wheelchair access and disability toilets.

Stopped in for a meal and that view is just sublime! Great pub style atmosphere and food we thoroughly enjoyed.

Friendly staff , food great and fantastic views.. . When there wasn't any accommodation available, the staff here helped us out. Definitely better than some over priced B&,B,s

Highly recommend the oyster cove inn at Kettering meals were lovely heaps to choose from the menu and they have a specials board staff were very friendly you won't be disappointed

We have been down a few times to the restaurant for lunch. We came today, the lady who served us was fantastic and easy to get along with, and the food! Oh wow, the food was amazing!!! 5 star guys.

Beautiful place to have dinner and a drink. Pub meals are not typical of everyday bland food. Exceptional seafood meals with great value for money. Enjoyed our grilled calamari salad and best garlic bread in Australia according to my girlfriend who doesnt normally eat it. Great view across the water. Cant wait to visit again when travelling back to Tassie.

One of my favourite haunts when in the Hobart region. For years, The Cove Hotel has delivered excellent meals, combined with friendly service and an outstanding view. The main dining area provides panoramic views of Kettering boat harbour and a meal at the bar always has a warm comforting fire. Meals vary from frsh fish, oysters, Bruny Island cuts of meat to excellent duck meals. Thoroughly recommended.
