Beenleigh Library

The Beenleigh Library, is one of those classic community libraries. It's everything it should be, and nothing it's not.
Wheelchair Friendly and also beautifully caters for the Vision Impaired.
From when you first enter, it has a really nice welcoming feel. I liked how the staff public office station is set back so you feel no pressure of having to engage straight away, or not at all (depending on your own personal space I suppose).
The toilet facilities are clinically clean and hidden away nicely.
Every study, computer, printing and quiet conversation stations/areas are kept really well and clearly marked.
The staff are really engaging and know their profession as Library Technicians really well.
Surrounding car parking is well laid out and there is undercover parking beneath the library.
I didn't venture into the Meeting Rooms, but from what I observed they are really spacious with plenty to offer any gathering that wants to use them and support their local community services.
Highly recommend this library for those that live in the surrounding areas and somewhere where the kids can get lost in a world of reading and games, or watch the vast selection of DVDs that are on offer.
It's not hightech like others out there, but that shouldn't stop anyone from what it offers. Wonderfully laid out and there is plenty of areas and chairs to hide away for reading and studies.

There's good parking, staff are friendly and helpful. If you download the app you can click and collect books and DVDs. Staff will help you with your IT if you need it. Good areas to sit and have a read or a chat

It was mu first visit and I was surprised that this library was very nice. There is a spacious parking lot underground. The staff were kind.

Went into the library last week, and I was greeted by the most lovely young man, he was quite tall and had long hair. I quite often have issues with my phone and he was happy to help me, he even told me about the one on one tech session that the library runs. 10 out of 10 for service.

Friendly and computers were ready for use straight away. Thank yous very much.

Friendly staff, love this library my first day today and had to get me a library card aswell! I love the children area! The computer area is pretty neat and awesome too! Had a couple whom was being a bit loud and rude ... Besides that, overall a 5. Thanks to the lovely staff whom helped me with my issue too. Merry Xmas.

My favourite library when in Brisbane. Staff are great! Jess, Meg, Julie, Phoebe, Tom, Jess, Aavishka are all lovely but so are all the staff across the Logan Libraries.

The ladies were absolutely beyond lovely and patient with my 3 little girls. Good range of picture books for children with tables and chairs for kids to do some colouring as well. Toilets are nice and clean, parking directly out front. Great library.

This library, wow one of trhe best ones I've been too, and have we travelled around. Impeccable service from a lovely bloke by the name of Rob, he led us through the process of using the services made the whole experience very smooth sailing which otherwise may have been very traumatic. Lovely work with the garden out the front, make sure on your trip here you keen an out for the bins, never have I seen these, they must antique, just adds a nice touch to the place. Keep up the good work Logan council. Cheers.

I tend to visit this library for access of computers. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There's also alot of great books from A- Z . Can get abit noisy when it comes to 3pm from the school kids coming by, but you can't blame them. Plenty of street parking & also undercover parking also

Great selection of books & good 'facilities'; a number (10-ish?) of PC's, printers, helpful staff & info leaflets of things to do in & around Logan
