Absolutely wonderful experience! The hosts are so knowledgeable on the history of the islands, the bay, and surrounds. We were laughing the entire time! We took along two small children aged 3 and 1 and they were kept entertained, and well fed!

A truly remarkable experience both visually and culturally. From the breathtaking vista of Pelican Bank to very entertaining and informative commentary from local Butchulla man Joe. Turtles, Rays, Dugong and Dolphins were all present! I can’t recommend this tour enough. We had a mix of all ages on the tour I was on. Very importantly the access for those of us ‘not so young’ anymore was great. Many thanks to Jacqui in the tour office for talking me into going, I’m forever in your debt. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR…….

We had the turtle discovery tour and were welcomed on the boat by John and Travis.

It was a nice day discovering nearby islands and learning about the Butchella culture and beliefs. Travis was very friendly and shared with us so much that we felt privileged of living this experience.

The only downside was the weather and so we did not get to enjoy snorkelling.

We had an absolutely amazing day, today, with Travis and John. Thank you Travis for sharing your piece of paradise, the Butchulla country, with us. We feel incredibly privileged to have seen the beauty, and to have swum in the crystal waters, seen turtles and dolphins, and to have learnt more about your people and land. I cant recommend these guys highly enough. There was a slight hiccup with the lunch on our day cruise, so they offered us the chance to return on the sunset cruise that evening. Which we did! We enjoyed champagne, prawns and a grazing platter, while watching the sunset to the special sounds of Travis' didgeridoo. Such a treat! And one we will remember for many years to come. Thanks guys 😊

We went on Frazer Island by Experience Oz Remote Frazer Island Tour and it was simply fantastic. The crew were outstanding, the boat was spacious , clean and well organised. The whale watching was a wonderful experience with the skipper positioning the boat enabling a fantastic but respectful viewing point. The kayaks , the tube rides were well organised and clearly communicated to all. No pressure to do an activity. I am recovering from surgery( which occurred after i booked the tour) and I was a tad hesitant to go on this tour but after the crew completed a health questionnaire I felt included and was able to do what and when I wanted. I snorkled and paddled in the water with the numerous crew keeping an eye on me. Regardless of your age do this tour. Best tour I have been on

We have just come back from a tour with this company also called Milbi. From start to finish, all dealings with this company have been so professional and so personable. The owners are fantastic hosts and run an awesome tour. Whilst the wildlife didn't come out to play today, all was not lost with a fantastic "welcome to country" ceremony with a highly knowledgeable indigenous local. The boat was super comfortable and capable even in the windy conditions we had. We had a great explore of a couple of islands on foot out in the great Sandy straits and a subway lunch and fruit was also provided.
If there were more than 5 stars, I would rate them higher.

Wonderful day out. We were so lucky to see turtles, dolphins and even a mother and calf whale popped up next to the boat. The staff were very knowledgeable and engaging. Would highly recommend to anyone (we traveled with a family group aged 2 - 70+).

DJINANG CULTURAL WALKING TOUR
What a wonderful walk we had with Jojo! We got learn to all about the history of the Butchulla tribe of Hervey Bay … the traditional owners of K’gari. We got to know a little bit about the culinary and medicinal values of the native flora, a little bit about the fauna and finished up with a little rest in a park while Jojo told stories on his didgeridoo for us! He is a very entertaining guide! The walk was very easy … easy enough for a lady on a walking stick to negotiate it. Well worth the time and money.

We had an absolutely wonderful day out on the Milbi!
I was rd tripping with friends so we didn’t have much of a plan, we intended to go whale watching but because we left everything so late minute (we literally were looking 30 mins before the tour left) their wasn’t enough room.
Jacque however put in her absolute best efforts to find us something and she recommended this tour (turtle discovery).
It was an incredible day out! Extremely relaxing as well as a great educational tour about the cultural aspect and history of the land.
We were four young girls between 20 and 22 and we loved it. Burrad was one of our guides, he welcomed us traditionally which was incredible he shared his knowledge and we loved learning from him all about bush tucker and natural nutrients and remedies from the land and sea. His stories were also wonderful and left us more enthused and curious and wanting to learn even more!
Our skipper Will was also fantastic! He shared with us lots of stories about his life on the ocean! He talked to us about the reef, nature, the ocean. He also cracked open some pippies for us we’d collected on round island with Burrad.
Over all we had a wonderful experience and learned a lot! Swimming over the big coral reefs was incredible too! We spotted a few turtles from the boat which was lovely too! Definitely recommend this tour for educational & relaxation purposes!
The light snacks and lunch was great too & more than enough!
The entire team is great and we couldn’t have asked for a better last day on our road trip! (:

Couple of weeks ago we had the opportunity to experience the Sunset Cruise on Saturday and the Turtle Discovery Tour on Sunday. I totally recommend both their tours. The sunset was magnificent and the conditions on Sunday were incredible. Our Aborigine Tour Guide named Dingka Dingka managed to make the cruises even more special by sharing a bit of his knowledge with us and Mother nature put up a show about K'gari (native name for Fraser Island, meaning paradise).

Just be prepared...you will start the tour as a client but you will leave it feeling as part of the family. I will be joining them again in July...suggest you to do the same.

The sunset cruise was wonderful and the crew were amazing!
Then we did the cultural walk and absolutely loved it! Aaron’s (our awesome guide) passion and knowledge is incredible and infectious. We will certainly be back to do more tours with these fantastic people

I booked a tour on line (turtle discovery eco tour and cultural experience) to travel to the Fraser Coast.

All was good. The day of the tour was very windy so we couldn’t travel.

The customer service was perfect. They called me to inform the cancelation of the tour, they send a email too, it explained the details of the cancelation and the options (refund the money or travel different day).

I didn’t have any problems to get my money back.

Had an amazing experience on the turtle discovery tour! We specifically picked this tour for the indigenous culture experience and knowledge of the land. The knowledge of the skipper and tour guide Aaron ensured we had a great day regardless of the weather conditions. Couldn't recommend this tour enough, had a great time and will absolutely do it again next hervey bay trip 😊

We went on the Milbi Indigenous Sunset tour. It was a wonderful evening. Joe and Jimbo were brilliant. Joe kept us laughing non-stop whilst providing us with important and interesting insights regarding nature, seasons and the ways of the seas, lands and, Indigenous culture. Jimbo was also the best skipper/bar man/marine expert and top notch DJ. Jimbo supplied wonderful knowledge and a beautiful soundtrack between Joe's uplifting yarns. The beautiful scenery speaks for itself. A really relaxed, enjoyable and authentic experience that is well worth the experience, regardless of the sunset. A great end to our holiday. Thanks Joe and Jimbo for an unforgettable time and great memories. Bonus points to Jimbo for the local restaurant recommendation.

What an amazing trip! Not only were our guide and skipper Jimbo and Jojo extremely knowledgeable on marine life and indigenous culture, they were warm, friendly and very entertaining! What a fun day we had, LOVED it! Highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I had a great day, only small group, spotted our lot of whales, waving, jumping, showing tail. The crew was very professional and respectful to the whales. They mad the day very familiar, served us with everything we needed. I can only recommend.

Fantastic tour, well worth the visit. The only suggestion I'd make is that it would help if there was a PA system on the boat so we can hear the tour operators better.

Stunning locations and wildlife on this tour, led by local Butchulla guide Travis who also leads a welcome to country ceremony and bush tucker tasting. Extraordinary good value.
