Fraser Dingo 4wd Adventures

An incredible experience! Definitely one of the highlights of our travels along the east coast. We did a 2 day tour. It was a lot of fun getting to drive the vehicles around such a picturesque, one of a kind island and getting a glimpse at some of the native wildlife. Arty is a true Aussie and an excellent guide who is clearly very passionate about the island and the cultural and historical significance of all the landmarks/destinations we visited along the way. The volunteers at the accommodation were also very helpful and welcoming.

What an incredible two days.

Arty (Party without the P) was our guide, and our experience on beautiful K'gari wouldn't have been the same without him, his guidance, knowledge and stories.
We got to experience a small part of the island with someone who clearly is passionate about nature, culture and history.
The volunteers at the house were lovely, and everyone always made sure we were okay.

Very serious agency. We had a 1 hour briefing with everything explained, an itinerary based on the tides, and everything we needed in the car. The car was well maintained and safe. Thank you, we had an amazing journey on K’gari !

Highly recommended. Four of us are just back from doing the 3 day tag along tour and we had the BEST time. It was organised, professional and really good fun. The cars are easy to drive, big enough for 7 and the accommodation well thought out and much better than we were expecting! Plenty of food and snacks too.
The trips were all to stunning and interesting places. Special thanks to Arti for a really great overview of the island and for being a great host. All of us would go again in a heartbeat.

Amazing 3 day tour! Despite the cloudy and rainy weather we had such a blast, shoutout to Arty the tourguide for making the experience so fun and teaching us heaps about the history and culture. Plenty of activities with some down time too. Accommodation was great. Plenty of food. Met some awesome people. 10/10 recommend. (From a solo traveller)

Arty was the best tour guide ever! His storytelling and knowledge of the land and how to work with it really made the trip. We had a wonderful time, saw all the sights of the island in all their glory - all while respecting the island, its culture and custodians. This tour is in harmony with the island, not just any old touristy Fraser tour. The accommodation is great too, and so much better than camping - very well priced considering! 10/10 would recommend.

I had the best Time discovering Fraser with Arty the super guide. He knows this island like the back of his hand and made our trip the most wonderful you can have. He explained us the history and culture of Fraser with a respectful state of mind. Thanks a lot, i hardly recommend it

Amazingly organized tour with great staff that makes sure you'll get the most out of the experience! The tour guides will pass on their knowledge about the indigenous culture and the history of the island passionately. Driving with the 4x4s throughout the whole island was great fun! Without Arty no party!🤙🏽

I did the 2 days tour and it was an amazing experience. The island is absolutely incredible, riding around with the 4x4 is so much fun and swimming in the immaculate lakes was my favorite thing. But the trip wouldn’t have been the same without the presence of our incredible guide (p)Arty: he took care of us making us living the funniest experience without ever forgetting about how much we owe nature and aboriginal people. Thanks Arty for your precious and necessary historical point of view!

We had an amazing trip in our pink Toyota Prado called "Goldie". The staff were great, car performed well. It is really setup perfectly for 4wd on K'gari/Fraser Is.

It should be noted our 4wd did not have air-conditioning. Not sure if this was advertised on the website but it didn't affect the experience we had as we travelled in April. You may want to check with them if you are travelling in the peak of summer and feel as though you "need" aircon.

Overall the staff, advice and car performed great and K'gari island is an absolute treasure of an experience!

We did a self drive 5 day hire as we stayed on the island at Kingfisher bay resort.

The best 3 days on our east coast travels thanks to our tour guide Bob!
Bob was so chilled and laid back which made us all feel very relaxed straight away making the 3 days even more enjoyable and better than expected. Bob had so much knowledge about absolutely everything which was amazing.

Beach house was lovely, tidy with great meals. Wouldn’t have a bad word to say about anything, thanks Fraser Dingo’s for an unforgettable trip

A truly bucket list experience, we did the 3 day tour and stopped in a group in the companies own building on the island. The tour guide scott was clearly passionate about his role, loved nature, conservation and loved the island. Scott was both a good laugh and informative on all nature subjects.

Driving both on the beaches and inland is so much fun, we were even lucky enough to have planes landing and taking off as we drove down the beach!

Every place had its beauty and charm

Cannot stress how much I recommend Dingo’s 4WD experience. My girlfriend and I went on the 3 day tagalong tour and made great memories that’ll stick with us for life. Amazing group of people we ended up with, and the staff are so great - big up Bob!

Left K’gari feeling like we’d ticked every box. Definitely a bucket list experience.

We couldn’t have chosen a better tour. We had a wonderful weekend in K’gari Fraser Island thanks to them. Arti, the guide is the kind of guide you wish to have, he provided plenty of interesting explanations about the island and bachelor people. He was one of the main reasons for the experience to be that awesome.
Also, I have to say the volunteers working in the accommodation were very good, they were always cheerful and happy to help!
I feel grateful for the group of people we were there, it feels that we have known each other for years.

Had the best few days with my wonderful Fraser Island / K’gari family and of course our fabulous tour guide Arti! The accommodation was lovely (very glad we opted for the non-camping option) and Arti was the best guide you could imagine. He took us to the most beautiful parts of the island and is so knowledgeable of the island and its history - he always shared the most interesting stories. Thanks so much for the best time ever!

We did the 2 day/1 night tag along tour and had the best time ever with our awesome tour guide Graham. He has such a big knowledge about the island and can answer you any questions you have, if it’s either about the animals, vegetation or the history of Fraser Island. Definitely recommend to try and drive a car yourself as it is a unique experience. But even as just a passenger you’ll have so much fun! The days were filled with great activities and it didn’t seemed rushed and we still got to see a lot. Food and accommodation was great as well. Definitely recommend this tour company to anyone who’s traveling along the East Coast of Australia.

One of the best experience I've made so far. Even without driving, this tour was a must to do. I wish to everyone to be lucky to meet Arty. For sure he will make your tour unforgetable by sharing with you any secret he knows about this stunning Island.

We loved our Pink Betty, thanks guys n girls for an amazing day. When we booked this we did think we would just pick up the car drive on the island and beach. How nieve we were.

DONT book this unless you are a confident driver.

We hired a car for a 1 day experience, had to arrive at The collection point for 6:30am for a briefing and our route including tide times which had all been pre planned for us.
This briefing has to be taken seriously, once all sorted we headed off to the barge for 8:30am crossing. Had to reverse on this.
50 min crossing off the other end, about a mile road driving then it's 4x4 mode.

This is then soft sand single track driving, be prepared to stop and pull in. Make sure you adhere to the times given, it will make your day an enjoyable one, time keeping is key.

We did spend an hour at Lake McKenzie then followed the route and times given and got back at 4:30pm in time to get on the 5pm barge which then gave us an amazing sunset home.

Defo pay extra for the dingo clean. We paid an extra $40 for the sand things. Probably worth it although we never used them.

Take the dingos seriously, we read in the news later the day we were there someone got chased towards the sea.

I won't say anymore as dont want to spoil an amazing day.
