What a day! Kirk our guide was great, very knowledgeable and you could see he cared about the island. The tour was fast paced and fun whilst allowing time at each stop. To appreciate the island you definitely need more than a day but the tour we did was great at getting as much as possible in. Kirk and Tim looked after us all day and taught us a lot. The flight across the island at an additional cost was amazing as well and worth the money.

Wow what a day! We did the 1 day Frazer Island tour with our driver Kirk! My husband and I cannot stop talking about what a fantastic day we had. We were a bit worried about the weather as it was raining when we left but as the day went on the rain was just the occasional shower and we didn’t even really notice the rain, I think the rain might have even made our experience even more fun. We visited all of the places on the itinerary and they are truly amazing especially Lake Mackenzie, have never swam in a more beautiful place in my life. Kirk was fantastic, he talked all day to us explaining alot about each place we visited as well as some early settlement days, very interesting to listen to. He was a champion of the sandy/slushie roads and I have never laughed so much in my life on the back seat of a bus! Thanks Kirk for such a wonderful day!

Beautiful trip, which i can fully recommend!
It was the perfect tour to visit Fraser Island in one day. We saw a lot and yet never felt like we were in a hurry. Many thanks also to our tour guide Kirk! You were very friendly and it is amazing how much you know about the island.

Thank you Fraser Experience Tours! We had an amazing day on the 1 day Exclusive tour with our guide Pete. He was respectful of the indigenous culture and their Dreamtime stories; informative and knowledgeable of the land and places we visited; and looked after us with exemplary customer service from pick up to drop off. All the locations were stunning, the 4wd experience was second to none and our meal/snacks were perfect.
Highly recommend.

We loved our tour with Pete, he was super informative about every detail from the animals & trees to the people who used to live on the island with their Dreamtime stories. He gave us plenty of time on each spot and put extra effort in to try make us see dingos too - which we luckily saw two! 🐕

Would definitely recommend these guys if you want an experienced, fun and educational tour of the island.

We had a lot of fun on the tour! The living lexicon, Kirk, is awesome. Thank you so much Kirk, it was so cool to sit up front with you and we felt very safe on the ride. The tour was a great adventure, we even saw 3 dingo pups and learnt how to behave properly.

We took the 1 day tour to K’gari we had a great day. Kirk was our tour guide he has such extensive knowledge and experience of the Island very impressive.
Our swim at lake McKenzie was the highlight for me just amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to see any dingoes maybe next time.
The 4WD bus was a lot of fun very bumpy at the back of the bus 😂

Wonderful day out on KGari. Special mention to the outstanding driver & guide Kirk. His commentary is very interesting and informative. We were lucky to see at least five dingoes as well as all the most popular locations.

We had an exceptional experience with Pete during our tour just before Christmas and can highly recommend him and his company. First of all they were extremely accommodating with a special request we had which is something we really valued. And the tour itself was an absolute highlight of our trip to Australia. Pete's knowledge was impressive and he made sure that we really got to know the history of the island and its people. Overall an extremely relaxed, informative and inspiring trip. We had a wonderful day riding with Pete and a great couple from the Netherlands. Pete was super friendly and amazingly well-informed. We particularly appreciated all of the aboriginal knowledge and understanding he has taken the time to acquire, appreciate, and share. It made the visit mean so much more and very interesting. The island is amazing and having a great guide like Pete made the trip possible. Everything was super easy, punctual, and he made sure he got us through the entire day as comfortably and enjoyably as I think is possible. Definitely recommend and would love to go back again.

Went on one day bus tour from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island. Brilliant tour! Special thanks to our tour guide and driver, Dave. He took us to all the main spots including Cental Station, The Pinnacles, Eli Creek, Lake McKenzie and had lunch in Happy Valley. He even went the extra mile and organised for anyone that wanted a ride in the propellor planes that were taking off and landing on the beach which was an amazing experience (this is at an additional cost to the tour). Dave was also a very informative tour guide and I would definitely recommend this company and tour.

The one day trip (One day Fraser experience tour) is perfect for those who don't have so much time or those who don't fancy camping so much.
Dave was our driver and guide of the day and he was fabulous at his job. We really enjoyed Dave's explanations about the history of this island, how they are now calling it "K'gari" instead of Fraser island, the different flora and fauna, etc. He is super nice and super competent.
Morning tea& snacks and the picnic lunch were good.
There were a few walks which were all fairly easy so overall this was a really relaxing trip.

We can really recommend the tour. The pickup from the campsite worked without any problems despite a small delay. Then we took a boat trip by ferry to Fraser Island. We set off to various highlights of the island including Central Station, the shipwreck and Lake McKenzie. Our tour guide has gone to great lengths to provide enough information and interesting facts about the island and its animal and plant life. The morning tea and lunch were great! We were able to enjoy a morning tea in nature and a lunch in the Centralstation. It was really worthwhile to do this day tour I can only recommend this to anyone who has a day here in Harvey Bay.

Great trip experience. I chose this company over others as they take smaller groups, I think maximum 17, so the experience is more personal. I was the only solo traveller on the bus but didn't feel left out as I got to sit up front which was good as I get car sick. Take tablets if you get car sick as it's very bumpy (driving on sand not sealed roads).
Our guide, Kirk/Kurt(?) was excellent. Very knowledgeable and respectful of the island, its history and the dingoes. We came across 3 dingos and he also pointed out whales and a white-bellied eagle. You could tell he was passionate about his job. He protected 3 tourists walking on the beach from an orange-collared dingo but also saved the dingo as if the dingo had been caught being aggressive he'd have been put down. He also warned a family with a young child running around that there was a dingo nearby and they should keep their child within arm's reach. Ignorant tourists who don't follow the dingo rules are a big problem on the island.
A hot drink and snack was provided in the morning and then lunch was provided later in the day. It consisted of a wrap, fruit and fizzy drink.
The opportunity to do a scenic beach flight (extra cost) was provided though it's not always possible depending on timings.
You get collected from and dropped off to your accommodation.

Had a tour with Dave today. Everything was really well organized. Good schedule, everything on time, great lunch and overwhelming expertise from Dave throughout the day!! The group size of 17 is also very well-suited (there are other tours with at least double the amount of people). Thanks for taking us around K’Gari, Dave!

We did the one day tour yesterday. It was great. We learnt a lot! K'gari Island history is quite interesting. We learnt about the traditional owners, tree logging time, dingos (we saw 4!), the different names of the island... Must do.

We made a last minute decision to go to Fraser Island and were accommodated as a group of 8 immediately. All 8 of us had never been to Fraser Island before and had no expectations. To say we were pleasantly surprised was an understatement - we all throughly enjoyed it! Not only the beautiful picturesque island, but what made it extra special was the commentary by our driver/guide David. David was so informative and interesting to listen to which made our 1st trip to Fraser Island that bit more pleasant. Newbies be aware- the 4wd track is quite bumpy, but I found it quite relaxing after a while! We would definitely recommend Fraser Experience Tours, especially for 1st timers who would like to learn about the landscape and history of Fraser Island along the way. K‘Gari is definitely worth a visit 🤩 Fraser Experience Tours was great. We did a private tour with a very knowledgeable guide. They pick you up at the hotel in the morning in a Defender and have drinks and food on board, more than you need. You just relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. Definitely a recommendation!

Tour was great! Got a taste of the highlights of K’gari. Kirk was great, had an impressive amount of knowledge of the wildlife, vegetation and history of the island which we loved hearing about during the tour. Would recommend!!

What an amazing experience. A thoroughly enjoyable and well educational tour. Learnt so much about the island you would never know by visiting self-guided. Was picked up at 7.30am from our hotel and you are not back till after 7 that evening so plenty to cover on the island. A delicious lunch with a variety of wraps were also served, so well fed for the day. Visit Lake Kckenzie, the S.S. Maheno shipwreck and the Pinnacles just to name a few of the places we were shown. Unfortunately, didn’t get to spot a Dingo, but was well educated on how to handle them should we have encountered any. My kids (7 and 5) had fun exploring the place. Thank you for an enjoyable tour
