The food here is sensational for pub food. The steak sandwich with fries was delicious, and the beef pie was even better. Packed full of juicy, well seasoned, pulled beef with just the right amount of gravy. The pastry was also top-notch. The accompanying mashed peas tasted like real peas that had been cooked and coarsely mashed instead of your canned version, and the potato mash was smooth and buttery. The gravy was also great. The chips that came with the steak sandwich were not as crispy as some but whatever they'd been fried in was a real winner. On the top end of cost for pub food but the quality took it over the line. Nearly forgot to mention the onion rings.....coated in the crispiest thinnest batter and fried to bring out the sensational onion sweetness.
Front of House, Alison, was also so friendly, helpful and attentive without being over the top.

Big thanks to Emma. Phil, Kylie, Sophie & Adam for all the assistance in making the surprise birthday get together for our son a huge success !!!

The food platters were
yum and the service was impeccable. The decorations and arrangement were very well presented giving enough room to move around to mingle .

Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves listening and dancing to the live acoustic performance ! And most important everyone enjoyed their food and drinks ! The birthday celebrant enjoyed the variety of cocktails he had last night !

We no longer live in the Gold Coast but frequently come back to visit. Whenever we are here we like to catch up with friends and family. This usually involves around 30 of us. We have had quite a few of these catch ups here, the last one on Saturday night. Nothing is too much of a hassle, despite the large group. The staff are amazingly friendly. Would recommend to anyone!!!!

Went to Hinterland Hotel for a pub Friday meal. From the start the staff were super friendly and fun. Jess was great making sure we were happy at all times and Lara at the bar along with other two staff with the names I didn’t get were all super friendly as well. The two cocktails I got were done very well and all food was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff.

Great hotel spacious 3 bedroom unit, friendly and helpful staff- food from restaurant delivered to room was quick and delicious- great 2 days . Only thing that would be great is having the ability to connect phone to tv to watch movies of choice from Netflix etc. .

Going above and beyond does not adequately describe the level of service the incredible staff are providing me every time I visit.

I have a vision impairment and recently attended the Hinterland Hotel. From the first time I walked in each and every staff member did everything they could to assist me and make me feel welcome.

I just yesterday evening got to experience true live music and the solo performer as well as the band were spectacular. Considering the amazing quality of the performers, I was surprised to see how few customers were enjoying the music. I'm updating this review to try and spread the word about the incredible live acts that are now performing at the Hinterland Hotel. Please take a look and you'll end up staying for the whole show like I did!

I would like to give particular and special mention to the Duty Manager Sophie as well as all of her staff for making me feel so welcome, accepted and part of the local community.
Another staff member who deserves to be commended for always being there to help with whatever I need is Jameson.
There's even more staff I would love to mention here and I'll get their names too.
Just want to express a huge Thank You to all the staff.

Busy traffic to get here from Gold Coast, but woth the drive. Never ever have I as a Gluten free dietry req., been able to order a gluten free pasta meal. OMG Sooooo delicious, thanks to the chef, awesome meal.🥰🥰

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the Graziers Steak Sandwich - Delicious! There's a great vibe and awesome staff - thanks Rosita.

A great place to visit, a friendly atmosphere and a very nice pizza to eat while while enjoying your time with your family

The best business I’ve come across, we have had no power and kids at home and was so hot and bothered and come here for a few drinks to get out of the house and get some food and the staff here were so helpful and accompanying to our needs with even supplying help for the kids with a blanket for the cold aircon. 110% recommend!

We come to the Hinterland regularly and love seeing Rosita’s beautiful face behind the bar. Love her bubbly personality and the way she interacts with all the regulars.

Great place for a bite to eat or a tower or two live music some nights a playground for the kids upstairs sports bar also

Family friendly as there is indoor play room as well as outdoor playground. Kids were able to play and let the grownups relax. Also screens for playground and play room so you can keep an eye on kids while in dining area. Service from staff was excellent, very friendly and approachable always smiling which was greatly appreciated. Bought in cake for my son's birthday, they offered to place un fridge until dessert time. Thanks for the amazing service on Sat 17 July for our group that booked last minute :)

Was absolutely amazing, went their to go do a small resin chopping board, and the things I learnt + the fun I had along the way 😊

Rating would have been a 1. If Rose didn't step in and assist as your supervisor on the day was incompetent. Rose is amazing and knows her job and definitely a credit to you and your company. Rose needs to be acknowledged and thanked for her hard work

Was invited to dinner with a friend. Parking was easy and available, a decent menu with ordering and paying from your table via QR code.
I ordered the chefs special Double Cheese burger and I am no disappointed, that sucker was way tastey, moist, and huge! Plus a side of fries.
Definitely worth returning for.
