Oyster Cove Chalet

Only five stars. I am very satisfied with all the facilities. You can see kangaroos everywhere in the early morning.really like a zoo. It is a great accommodation experience.

On our arrival Annie came out to welcome us and show us our accomm. She is so personable and friendly and we felt very comfortable immediately. Our Chalet was modern, extremely clean with added touches such as the complimentary, home made chocs and bottles of water. A handy mini bar selection was provided. The bed was super comfy with quality linen. WiFi, TV, shower and a decent supply of fresh milk all deserve a big tick. A quiet location with various areas around the property to sit and relax, wild life to spy and safe, handy parking. A month's stay would not be a hardship. Well done and thanks.

Couldn’t speak any higher of this place and the amazing hospitality afforded to us by Guy and Annie! All the “little things” that are included are so much more than necessary however most definitely made our stay even better than we could’ve imagined! The home made welcome “bliss ball” chocolates, the private bbq, mini bar, the cleanliness and modern facilities in our unit and the stunning grounds will definitely have us escaping the “real world” much more often!
Being so close to town gives no one the need for any excuse at all to stay a night or two at the drop of a hat!!
Will most definitely be back!! Thanks again!!

Very clean,comfortable and tidy, lovely hosts, well appointed unit with alot of thought gone into it...spa bath was a bit of a tease as I was looking forward to a little soak! Pictured in the advertisement but the plug has been removed so a no go area! Otherwise a lovely stay in a lovely setting.

The apartment is very nice, comfortable with a good kitchenette. Facilities in the room are excellent. The environment is quiet and we did see quite some animals like wallabies nearby. The host, Guy, is very nice and provided a good suggestion to us as we wanted to pick fresh fruits in the farm. The welcome gift, Christmas chocolates handmade by Annie, was great! Very enjoyable stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at Oyster cove chalets which are quiet, comfortable and very well equipped. Guy and Annie are friendly and very helpful. Added extras include yummy homemade chocolates, slippers and the best quality BBQ I've ever seen in a holiday property.
A covered private deck area for each chalet was a bonus and made for a good place to observe various birds and wallabies or to listen to the array of birdsongs. These chalets are set in a beautiful bushland setting and provide an ideal opportunity for a restful, stress free retreat or equally great to stay as a base to explore many popular tourist destinations like Bruny Island, Hobart and the Huon Valley.

Met by Guy when I checked in who was super friendly and walked me thru my accommodation. Gorgeous setting amongst the trees and still close to public trans from Hobart. Very clean and great amenities (barby on a covered porch where i was visited daily by nature, hot tub). Perfectly located on the way to Kettering ferry where I started my Bruny Island Safari tour). Will be back!

Quaint and quiet accommodation in a beautiful natural setting.
My partner and I stayed in apartment 1 for two nights and loved our time here. The rooms were totally soundproof, so very private and relaxing.
My standards of cleanliness are pretty high so I was extremely impressed with how immaculate this place is.
The spas do cost extra as the property is on tank water however we received a cute little spa package for the $20 which included bath salts and a bath bomb among other things 🦆
The bathroom was modern with a good water pressure (which is so rare in hotels these days!)
The kitchenette was well stocked and included a pod coffee machine. The owners even baked us fresh bread on our first morning!!!
The four apartments are surrounded by bush which is teeming with native animals such as padymelons, native chickens, wallabies and many birds.
The owners also have two very friendly chickens who follow you around and like a pat. Their two cats are very cute too!
I would thoroughly recommend Oyster Cove Chalet for a relaxing private getaway close to Hobart and Bruny island.

Guy and Annie provided personable servive whilst also allowing us to enjoy the privacy and serenity of this gorgeous location. The chalet was well-appointed and stocked with essentials as well as some lovely additional touches, like Annie's handmade chocolate balls! I highly recommend this accommodation

My husband and myself had a lovely 2 night's stay at this peaceful and tranquil setting on my Husbands 60th Birthday. We arrived in the afternoon on a cold and rainy day.we had just come from a Fantastic BRUNY ISLAND ADVENTURE Boat ride.We we're so pleased with the room it was all we hoped for thank you for topping off our day Guy and Annie.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay we were welcomed with a friendly warm greeting and some freshly baked Scone's to enjoy in our room. Would recommend to anyone that they choose oyster cove chalet for their stay in Tasmania. 6 stars from us

We found this resort to be located in a beautiful environment, close to Bruny Island and the Huon Valley, both areas we wanted to visit. The rooms are clean and spacious. Most importantly the owners are very welcoming, adding that little touch of regularly baking scones or bread for us. I highly recommend Oyster Cove Chalet and would stay again if in this this area in the future.

Charming place and comfortable stay. LIttle to no mobile reception, but you can interact with the nature all around. A few wallabies came by our porch and the playground steps away. About half an hour drive from Hobart and just a few minutes drive from Kettering ferry terminal, this place makes an excellent base if you want to explore Bruny Island.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and loved every second of our stay in this beautiful setting. The bar has been set very high for the remainder of our time in Tassie. Our apartment was clean and comfy and had everything we needed in the kitchenette. Thank you!

Clean, cosy and lovely hosts. Beautiful surrounds and location. Annie's handmade chocolates were a real treat. Freshly made bread for breadfast was perfect. Highly recommend.
