Personally we love this boutique cafe. Nice good food and a bit of twist from usual cafe. The egg Benedict, crab meat omelettes is nicely prepared. My kids have French toast and it has a unique flavour. Love it. Might come back for lunch . Thanks you

Went here for lunch service after an appointment at Japanese embassy.

Came after peak around 11.
Service staff were very friendly and approachable.

We were a family with 2 children. Even before we decided to dine in. A waitress came to us to ask if we were looking for parents room.

Food and drink was delicious. We ordered starters only. The truffle chips and Korean fried chicken.

Chips were the highlight for us.

The coffee was really delicious too. Not sure what bean they used, but it really hit the spot.

Though pricey altogether. The quality and service does do it justice. I would definitely come again to try something different.

We didn't see high chairs and know the area is a business district. So would be curious to see how families would feel coming here during peak time.

Stopped here for a coffee and to kill time. The mocha in a mug was amazing, and so was the green juice, cold pressed on site in the morning.
The waitress was also very friendly and helpful.
Thank you all for a very nice coffee/ juice experience!

We'll be back to try the lunch - the linguine looks amazing

No doubts , this is one the of the best cafes/restaurants in Sydney CBD by far (Dec 21). The interior looks like a fine dining restaurant, great ambient. Our latte are lovely, nice and smooth.

The waiting staff (a lovely gentleman) works his hardest to look after us. However, our breakfast is a bit letdown. Our toasts are quite burnt. I look at customers next to us (the other 2 tables) and they get same burnt toasts as well so I guess it might be the chef’s preference.

All in all, great place , great service, good coffee and great vibe. Highly recommended 👍

I highly recommend stopping her for breakfast. We stopped here just to try vegemite as neither of us had ever had it. When our server, Clarice found out, she spoke with the chef and they made us a little sample to go with our eggs Benedict with salmon. It was so good!
The presentation and taste were perfect. While we might not get to come here again (we live in the US), you definitely should in our place.
Tell Clarice hi!

A girly brunch took us to Bowery Lane located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, and with really positive reviews I was pretty excited to try out the food. Hidden in what is known as 'Wintergarden' in the CBD, the entrance of Bowery Lane looks almost like a florist store-front with it's beautiful flowers, pots and rustic arrangements. Once you walk up the short flight of stairs you are welcomed to a really warm cafe. The concrete theme runs with the walls, plates, and tables, while the greenery and plants bring the outside in. They've married the inside and outside together so perfectly with the decor and furniture!

Food: 10/10

I loved every little bite I ate

Service: 9/10

We were served really wonderfully

Ambiance: 9/10

I love the concrete meets nature theme!

Menu: 8/10

The menu covers some really great options, with vegetarian choices and a combination of sweet and savoury too. I would like to see a few lighter brunch options however.

Value for Money: 9/10

The brunch was really worth the money. The serving sizes were large, and so very generous.

Overall: 9/10

We hosted a corporate event here and couldn't be happier with the experience. The place itself is so beautiful and unique and having the place to ourselves was a bonus! The food was incredibly delicious with massive portion sizes. The staff were so helpful, friendly and highly professional. I highly recommend this place and I cant wait to come back!

Great breakfast and coffee. Heaps of seating, quick service. We had a pram and they were helpful. We had the chilli scrambled eggs and eggs Benny, portions were small but it means there was no waste and we ate it all, it was yummm! Coffee was good too

Tucked away in this building this restaurant is filled with surprisingly excellent food - with a slightly modern industrial vibe. The red wine butter was superb and the steak was perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the scallops starter. Really worth stopping by if you're after an excellent lunch - or to impress someone with a clever restaurant find.

They are just on point with everything here. Coffee was good, food was good, service was good. Perfect sized portions, nice flavors, and the place was packed with business people and socialites... so that's big green flag right there.

We walked in with 8 people and got a table straight away. It was busy but our coffees and food came out quickly. Food was delicious and service was great.

This place is excellent... the food, the service, the ambiance. I have come here quite a few times for breakfast and a couple of times for dinner... it never disappoints! The smashed avocado was the best in Sydney... seriously... but last time we went it was off the menu so that was disappointing, but everything I have eaten has been excellent! I also love the quirky theme nights... and the way it looks, the staff are enjoying themselves!!! Seriously awesome!

Modern Australian restaurant at the heart of Sydney's Central Business District.
The food is an ecclectic range of traditional Aussie mixed with Asian-style dishes.

The eggplant dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pasta was divine and the burger was juicy and superbly cooked. If you have time, try their lamb shoulder with beetroot, their best selling dish.

Absolutely loved trying this cafe for the very first time - cosy for a get-together or a quick meal, not too overpriced as their portions are quite generous. Had the Grains and Mushroom (?) from their breakfast menu and was completely satisfied! Will definitely come back to try their other dishes :)

P.S. Set just a-stair-below the side entrance is a lovely florist, perfect to grab a stalk or bouquet for that special someone before your date ;)

Lovely place to have breakfast! Not a very varied menu though but what was available was fresh, tasty, hot. And the coffee was great too!!

You know when they advertise a delicious looking burger on the shop window and think, it’s not gonna be like that in real life?
This was better in real life. It was a damn good burger, so fresh and so perfect!

The name suggests it’s in a laneway but it’s not as you enter through the main entrance it’s a sharp left into what feels like a boutique florist and restaurant is located upstairs. The dining area is nicely spaced out with a few round and square tables. The kind waiter served us with coffee first followed by taking our brunch orders. My eyes drew attention to the dish right at the bottom of the page and the waiter said that was the best choice ‘rocky road French toast’. He was not wrong it was simply delicious the rocky road and Turkish delight saving the best to last. Reasonable priced menu for the quality of food served.

Good service and I had a delicious brie and caramelised onion omelette with a few sides for breakfast. Couldn’t fault.
