Shahi Dining Rouse Hill

I loved dining at Shahi Dining again. Their dishes are all so authentic, flavoursome and absolutely delicious. They now have some great new menu additions along with all their regular favourites.

I especially recommend the new Beetroot Puri, Saffron Puri and lamb curry dishes plus the delicious new Gulag Jamun Cheese Cake. The Kurkari Padpi Chat is amazing too. And I could never not order their delicious Butter Chicken or Amritsari Fish. The serving sizes of each dish are very generous.

To be honest I loved every single dish we ordered and would happily reorder all of them again on my next visit.

If you love Indian food then I highly recommend travelling to Rouse Hill to Shahi Dining. I know this is a big call to make but after dining at Shahi Dining numerous times I truly believe it is THE best Indian food I've ever tasted in Sydney.

Although we arrived few minutes before closing the restaurant, they allowed us in and provided us with great service and food like usual. Highly recommended for authentic Indian flavors in the hills area.

Delightful Shahi Breakfast

Earlier today, we indulged in a delectable Shahi breakfast. The highlights of the meal were:

Chole Bature
The Chole bature, a classic North Indian dish, was absolutely delicious. The fluffy, fried bature (bread) paired perfectly with the flavorful chole (chickpea curry), making for a truly satisfying and authentic experience.

Pav Bhaji
The Pav bhaji, a popular Maharashtrian street food, was also a standout. The spicy, tangy vegetable curry, served with soft, buttery pav (bread rolls), was simply mouthwatering.

Mango Lassi and Sweet Lassi
To complement the savory dishes, we topped off the meal with refreshing mango lassi and sweet lassi. The cool, creamy beverages provided the perfect balance and a delightful taste.

Lastly, we were offered a rice pudding desert, which gave a perfect finish to our Shahi breakfast.

Overall, it was a truly indulgent and satisfying start to the day, with each component of the meal contributing to a delightful and memorable dining experience which combined with truly great ambience.

Food is good, service is standard and atmosphere a bit dark, but even so it is an authentic Indian restaurant that provides a variety of delicious food and drinks. Pricing is medium and on the higher side.

I always intend to leave a review after dining here, but it slips my mind every time.

Without a doubt, this is the finest Indian restaurant in town! The impeccable service, delectable food, and inviting atmosphere make every visit a delight.

This has become my go-to spot for Indian cuisine. Over the years of patronizing this establishment, I have never once been disappointed.

The owner's warm welcome and the exceptional staff truly set this place apart. It's evident that a good boss fosters a fantastic team!

I extend my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding service and eagerly anticipate returning here time and time again.

My usual order includes:
- Non-veg platter (absolutely delicious)
- Indo-Chinese delights like cauliflower Manchurian and flavorful fried rice
- Butter chicken that never fails to impress
- Naan that complements every dish perfectly

The good here is always consistently delicious. The lamb cutlets are soooo good.

Today we went there and we really enjoy the food here. The customer handling and dealing with customers is great. The Manager by himself helping customers which I haven’t seen at other places. The most important thing all staffs are very nice and serving everyone professionally. The atmosphere was so good. The food quality and service was too good. We enjoyed there today which make our friend’s anniversary even more special.

What a delightful dining experience we had at Shahi Dining last Sunday! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the warm ambiance and were greeted with a smile while being walked to our table. All the staff was incredibly kind and helped us choose the best options based on our preferences. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect for this cold weather! However, I’m still dreaming about that mouth watering butter chicken and lamb shank masala 😍 SO GOOD!

Absolutely amazing food. Every single dish was prepared exactly as per the instructions provided. Without compromising on the taste the entire menu was prepared with allergy-free requirements. Undoubtedly , it's the Best place in Hills District for authentic Indian food!!!
Can't forget to mention how polite the staff is with naughty kids at the restaurant!

But also tried Amritsari Kulcha during lunch time and this post is for the same. I was highly skeptic as normally you find the gimmicky ones and I'm happy to say from BoxHill to Blacktown this is the 3rd place ( other two are : Ambarsariya - 7 Hills, Royal Turban Tadka Foodtruck ) serving actual 'Amritsari Kulchas'

9.5/10 for taste
.5 less for the not so authentic chole that go for Amritsari kulche which I shared feedback on too but I don't mind at all.
Really happy that I got to try this today.

We normally write bad reviews as soon as possible, but avoid writing good reviews..
So here am I, writing a good review about this place Shahi dining.
I went with my family to the restaurant and the food and service was very good.
Normally my 4 year old, does not like to eat outside as he find outside food very spicy but even he loved the food there.
I ordered for the food to be mild spicy and the food was literally very less spicy but still full of flavours.
I ordered for Paneer butter masala and chicken Korma, both of the dishes were good and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

PS. Don’t have photos of the bill right now as I went to the place 10 days back and in the start, I have mentioned above writing a good review takes time ☺

I had pruned my Curry tree, didn't want to waste the cuttings, so offered them to the gentleman at Shahi Dining. He was happy to take them. I meant for him to have them for free, but he insisted on giving me something in return... a totally unexpected gesture. I received some yummy butter chicken, plus 2, out of this world cheesy naan bread. Thank you so much. We shall return soon, as paying customers!!!

Finally... no need to go to Harris Park for some fabulous Indian food. The curries are splendid and well balanced between spice and decadence, often pulling you back for more bites as you devour through the freshly made garlic naan. Highly recommend the creamy chicken and lamb chops as they were the standouts main amongst the heavy hitters! They also have an on-site bar with cocktails and wine readily available. Price is on the higher side - but trust me when I say you’re paying for absolute quality.

Never failed to please. Great food, prepared to customised spice levels, generous portions, comfortable seating. Today we were given a sampler of a new dish Paneer Anardana!! Will be a great addition to their menu. Their simple Yellow Dal tadka too, was simply delicious. Great service too!! Their manager and serving staff always wear a smile and are welcoming.

The restaurant is clean and their staff is professional. Food was yummy and fresh. I’ve ordered food many times through phone order and recently visited their restaurant. Their seating arrangement is quite cozy and and peaceful. Thank you for providing great service to our rousehill community.

Such an amazing restaurant to enjoy some of the best Indian cuisine! I fell in love with the heavenly chicken saag here. So addictive I kept going back for more, and the chicken was incredibly succulent. The chefs special lamb shank masala was also a highlight, with the tender meat falling off the bone.

I loved the entrees we tried as well, along with the garlic naan and keema naan. The papdi chat has the perfect mix of textures for crunchy saucy perfection, while the chicken tikka, lamb chops and seekh kebab in the meat platter were all cooked brilliantly. I definitely recommend this place for a beautiful dining experience packed with so much flavour!

Shahi Dining has the best Indian food! I recently dined there with my family and we found all the dishes we tried to be so full of authentic flavours. The meats were melt in your mouth delicious and the wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. My favourite dishes were the non-veg platter for two (the lamb cutlets on this platter are amazing) and the Saag Lamb curry which was recommended to us by the waitress. The Samundari Prawn Malabar was another delicious favourite with a generous number of succulent prawns in a coconut and spice curry. I also highly recommend ordering a margarita or if you prefer a non alcoholic drink then the lychee soda. They were both so refreshing! Even though this restaurant is quite a drive away from us we will definitely be revisiting we enjoyed the food and experience so much!

I recently revisited Shahi Dining and this experience was just as good as my previous visit. This time we ordered the Amritsari Fish, Chicken Tikka and our favourite samosa for entrée, followed by the Fish Malabar, Lamb Shank Korma and Butter Chicken for mains. The lamb shank was melt in the mouth, fall off the bone tender and delicious with a delectable sauce full of amazing spices. The Fish Malabar was the standout dish for me with the generous serving of fish simmered perfectly in coconut milk and delicate Indian spices. So delicious! And the Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken are firm favourites too. The mango frappe and lychee soda were wonderfully refreshing and perfect on a hot Summer day's visit. Shahi Dining remains my favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney thanks to its authentic flavours, friendly and proficient wait staff and amazing food. I love the spacious layout of the tables too. If you are wanting delicious authentic Indian food I highly recommend a drive out to Shahi Dining at Rouse Hill.

I love coming here because of good food, behaviour of staff and their flexibility. Highly recommend this place . I am fan of their mushroom and whenever I visit them it’s my go to starter. ❤❤

Driving 45mins for dinner to a restaurant and not being satisfied is not a good feeling. At Shahi Dining not only we were satisfied but eagerly wait for the moment when we will revisit the amazing experience again. 🤩

Excellent experience from walking in the door and being greeted by knowledgeable smiling staff, seated and drinks order taken all within 5 minutes. The menu favourite that keeps me coming back is the lamb shank. Really tasty, nice and hot, perfect for a winter night. Always glad that I decided to go and happy that I went. Aman/Nav was my server tonight. Very attentive and helpful, but not pushy. Always nice when a restaurant succeeds because of its staff and not in spite of it. All meals was served hot and excellent taste. 👏
