Cafe Valetta

The cafe sits opposite the Queens Park and Botanical Gardens in Toowoomba, nestled inside a converted Victorian home. Stained windows, wide open sitting spaces and music spread between the 40’s and 50’s provide a unique experience.

The coffee is Elevate by Veneziano, one of the best beans in Australia at the moment. Poured fantastically in a cup appropriately sized with personalised chocolate art. The buttermilk pancakes were delicious, sized brilliantly and not over done. Watching other customers meals come from the kitchen and bar indicates that they have put a lot of thought into portion size, not attempting to flood the customer with food, but provide a culinarily experience without the overeating.

Most certainly a must stop for breakfast when in Toowoomba.

Had 3 egg omelette, ham, fetta and Mushrooms. Was fantastic. Staff polite and engaging. Great environment opposite the park and good seating inside and out.

A must-visit cafe in Toowoomba. The building itself is a gorgeous example of art nouveau and is oozing with charm. The staff here are always friendly and know how to deliver excellent customer service. Coffee tastes beautiful and the food is well presented, tastes delicious and is well priced. To quote Slim Dusty, "the atmosphere is great"! If you enjoy the cafe experience, then Cafe Valetta will deliver and delight.

What a great place! Well done to the manager on Saturday morning for standing her ground. An entitled Karen walked in with a cake from elsewhere and blew up because this business charged a fee for it's services. Running a business is already hard enough without these people thinking they can be waited on for free. Great coffee, amazing food and right across from the beautiful park. Highly recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere. It feels surreal; as if we are in another country. 🇮🇹 Staff were lovely and food was delicious. Fresh roses positioned on each of the tables. We will definately visit again. 💖

The food and coffee is always great!

Valetta is in the heart (best part) of the toowoomba city, right next door to queens park. The atmosphere is amazing, I love the water feature out the front and the flowers all around. The interior is heratige/modern and the temperature is good. Usually aircon and a breeze.

I love how it is children and dog friendly!

You feel like you are in someone's home, having breakfast with staff to wait on you. The setting is a beautiful old house environment.
The service is attentive, and their breakfast menu has an excellent selection to choose from.
Being opposite Queen's Park, you can go for a walk afterward.

We have been coming here over years. The quality and service are amazing. I’m still remember my first favourite dish that made me return to this place was Pancake with Banana top honeycomb and butterscotch sauce Ice cream which they don’t make them anymore!!

Lovely heritage home made into a cafe. It has beautiful views and a nice garden. The coffee was absolutely lovely and the meals were large in size. Car parking can be really difficult to find which is the biggest downside to this place. After many laps up and back I finally found a car park.

Perfectly positioned opposite Queen's Park this café has a great atmosphere, excellent coffee and a selection of indoor or outdoor seating.

Had an absolutely beautiful family night out. The staff were so lovely and welcoming (even though our children where a little lively) and the atmosphere made us feel a little bit like we were back in Italy. Food was yummy and pretty good value for money compared to other restaurants the same. Will definitely be back!

A whole package: great food, atmosphere and service.
Very much enjoyed spending time here this morning for a good coffee and a slice of cake on a cosey corner and then a Yumm lunch.
If you'd like a particular seating you probably need to call ahead.

Breakfast was delicious!! It was served in a timely manner considering how busy it was. I really enjoyed the glass of orange juice which had pith in it. My French toast was scrumptious and the bacon that came with it was cooked just right. The edges were nice and crispy while the middle was softer. My husband had the corn fritters and thoroughly enjoyed them. We will definitely be dining here again.

Lovely setting...my friends and I had a table in the lovely courtyard in front by the fountain...which was pleasant. Unique, fresh and tasty options on the menu, good drinks selection and attentive service...what more could you want?

My girlfriends treated me to a High Tea lunch for my birthday and we had a lovely time. The setting is stunning, the food selection amazing and the service was excellent I think we will be making this a birthday tradition - thanks for looking after us Cafe Valetta!

3rd visit here and just never fails to dissapoint. This is my favourite cafe of all time. The food is delicious, filling and reasonably priced. The staff that served us today had exceptional service skills. By far the best chicken burger I have ever had.

Cafe Valletta is such a beautiful place for a rest and meal. Sitting inside allows you to appreciate the pretty stained glass windows. If you sit outside won the terrace, you can then appreciate the beautiful flowers in the garden and enjoy the fountain. I ordered the bacon and egg with mashed avo on brioche bun. They even toasted the bun so that it’s crispy. Very delicious.

First time to visit here in toowoomba from the Gold Coast. The cafe has a Beautiful ambience, nice service and good food especially the coffee. Definitely recommend! Thank you

We went for brunch on Saturday and were so impressed with the service. It was very busy but the young wait staff found us a table and looked after us really well.

The breakfast menu was beautiful, it was hard to choose as all the meals sounded delicious. All 4 of us were pleased with the dishes we chose, they were all cooked to perfection and really tasty, hats off to the chefs turning out such great meals.

And on top of the great food and service, the surroundings and restaurant itself were lovely. I would love to go back next time I'm in Toowoomba!
