Cosa Nostra Ristorante Pizza & Gelato

Wow. We really want to make this our regular. It felt as close to an authentic Italian restaurant as you can get. The pizzas and gnocchi were amazing. But even better was the friendly service. It had a real family atmosphere. It was so nice to see people walk in and have a sense of familiarity. Can't wait to come back.

I had to get takeaway as they were booked out. It is only small. I got Pizzetta allan Sebastian. It has fresh tomatoes, garlic, chili, anchovies, capers, olives and artichokes. It was beautiful, a thin crusty base and great flavour in every bite. The special of the night was pappardelle with beef ragout. Again beautiful flavour and nice chunks of tender steak. The staff were friendly and you see that in the way they interacted with regular customers as well as me as I waited for my food.

Lovely little authentic Italian restaurant, delicious food and very friendly owners, I assume it’s the owners running it, Italian themselves and on the older side ! Will be back for their spaghetti, met other clients at the table next to us and they’ve frequented the restaurant for the last 30 years! This should say something! We will be back. Make sure you see the specials on the blackboard 🥂

After having a terribly unwelcoming experience next door at Ciao Cucina, we decided to come here to Cosa Nostra Ristorante, what a great choice and so glad we did! We got the warmest welcome from the lovely staff and we were shown to a spacious comfy table for 5. The cuisine was top notch, the selection of Italian beers was superb and our group felt super impressed with the dining experience. Would definitely recommend for quality and great service!

Tha pizza were amazing! The few first bites burnt my mouth but the taste makes it worth it. Appreciate that we have the medium size option to try different menu at one sitting. Will definitely go back.

We love dining out here. Authentic Italian pizza and meals. George, Neve and Peter have been running this business in Wollongong for decades that we know of. We choose to go here because the meals are delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is typically Italian family style. Most times we book a table, or phone ahead to check availability.

Me and my husband have been coming here for years and years and the food never disappoints. The place seems to be family run which is nice to see and while it can get a little loud inside we never regret coming. We almost always order a lasagne and the Mexicana pizza, I would recommend you give the place a visit.

I have eaten at this place 2 days in a row.
I give the food a 3.9 out of 5 as i haven't tasted their signature dishes. However i give it a 6 out of 5 for ambience. The family staff are lovely, i almost felt at home eating a delicious home cooked meal with friends and fam! If you are on a buisness trip in wollongong on your own make sure to drop by. You will walk away feeling full, satisfied and as if you had spent time with your loved ones. 👍

Had to order take away as my little one fell asleep in the car on the way there. They were really accommodating, super friendly and food was divine. Highly recommend this place.
