Ha Long Bay Vietnamese Restaurant

Beautiful resteraunt with delicious food. We ordered the vermicelli salad, beef pho, green curry and Tom yum soup. Which all exceeded our expectations. The dishes were served fast yet with care as you can see the effort put into making an appealing and delicious dish. The staff were all super friendly and kind. This restaurant is truly amazing.

This is a Vietnamese restaurant located in the Wollongong CBD. Came here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant is located on the second floor which is accessible via a small door from the street. The place is very roomy and nice. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The main attraction is the food. One of the best Vietnamese food I have had. The roll your own spring rolls , the pho and red curry was really tasty and full of flavour. Have to mention the fried rice specifically as it was really tasty. The food has that home cooked feeling and is just right, full of flavour.Definitely recommend.

Friendly service with delicious Vietnamese food. The place may need some touch up as the decor seems to be a bit outdated but don’t judge the book by the cover. We were not bothered by that either. Highly recommend the Shaky Beef and Roll Your Own dish (with Prawn or Beef). We ordered the Roll Your Own with Beef and it was so tasty with heaps of different herbs. We will totally come back again next time we visit Wollongong.

I had a great time at Ha Long Bay. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and fresh, and the amount of food is great for the price. I ordered the Garlic Fried Rice and it was the best I’ve ever had. I ordered a second plate for my family and they too thought it was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal

Great lemongrass pork vermicelli salad and really nice and friendly staff who are always smiling. Would recommend!

Fantastic food and vintage environment. The duck was soooo impressed! It’s boneless and replaced by Meat, mushrooms, water chestnuts and other ingredients Steamed before frying. The impact of the complex process on the palate is also striking. The rice roll is excellent as well. Brand new taste! Definitely 10 out of 10!

Came here last night and we will be back again. We had the salt and pepper squid, charsiu phó and the beef phó. Good portion size and flavourful. I will take more photos when we coke back

This place is great! Restaurant decoration is pretty nice and the staff are also really friendly. Food is fantastic with excellent flavours. I tried Black Pepper Honey Garlic Fish Sauce Pork Chop and Crunchy Spicy Squid. They offer the best squid ever in town. I definitely recommend this place…

Fantastic lunch at Ha Long Bay.
First time I have been to the restaurant, after hearing lots of good things from many friends.
I got the combination soup with added wontons and it was beautiful, something I would go for at a Chinese restaurant but was glad to see it here.
Dim sims were a great entree and the service was awesome.

Always fast and reliable yummy food. I like the very good service, as well as the nice views of the nice street below and wollongong buildings outside the window tables. Been back many times.

I have to say I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in this restaurant! I had Duck Pho and it is so delicious with a reasonable price. The Vietnamese duck is soo tasty as well. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

Food was incredible, some real authentic tastes coming through. Family friendly service, they were so considerate of our baby and everyone was accommodating, definitely saving this place in Google favourites, worth a visit if passing through Wollongong.

Tasty, fresh Vietnamese food on offer here. Has an extensive menu, sizzling dishes with your Choice of protein were great. Nice Crab Claws and butterflied Prawn for entree. Will test the Pho next time. Great, very friendly service.
