Wollongong Fishing Harbour

This is a wonderful spot where the scenery is second to none. Has several spots you can eat. You could grab some takeout or eat in one of the cafes that’s scattered around the harbour. There’s play areas for the kids and you can have a swim. There are toilets and the parking is pretty good too. You can take a really nice walk up to Wollongong Head Lighthouse which is definitely worth it. I had a wonderful day here, the weather was perfect. Not too hot. I would definitely recommend it.

If you're lucky enough, you'll get to see a genuine fishing trawler unloading it's daily catch! The best vantage point is the walkway around Bombora Cafe.

We watched them, mid-morning, unload a huge catch of fish... Also under the watchful eye of a hungry looking pelican! 😉👍

Visited on Australia Day great family atmosphere. Music. People picnicking enjoying themselves

A beautiful area from all perspectives - a stroll, a view, skateboard to escooter, time for a dip, fishing, or enjoying all the activity in this petite harbour flanked by the ocean and overseen by Flagstaff Hill

Wonderful views just great and relaxing atmosphere the harbour is just outstanding there is a park and a lighthouse where you can see it if you haven't been to Wollongong fishing harbour before I do recommend it just the area
