The Station Cafe

This is a fantastic cozy cafe built in an old train station. I had an amazing coffee and eggs benedict for breakfast here, seated inside a train carriage. A truly unique dining experience matched with excellent food.

What a great place to catch up with friends or read a book. I came by myself and had a great time eating breakfast while reading my book. Will definitely come back with friends and their kids. Super kid friendly with books and toys with a playground and train display!

Good service with three different staff asking how our coffee and meals were. One noticed we were missing salt and pepper and was very apologetic. Coffee and breakfast was good it a nice atmosphere. Note due to the heritage building that can't do bacon but do ham instead. The best cafe we have been too in Atherton. Gf options available.

What a refreshing experience at The Station Cafe! We ordered an omelette with mushrooms and spinach, and they kindly swapped out the cheddar for feta at our request. The real highlight was the whipped cream on my coffee—thick, handmade, and a cut above the usual canned stuff. The owner was present on Sunday, ensuring everything was perfect. These small details truly set The Station Cafe apart as a top local gem.

The cutest cafe, the scones are to die for. Extremely friendly prompt service. Has a nice small town family vibe to it. You sit in old train carriages which is a nice fun experience in itself. Kid friendly, there is a playground in the car park. We had waffles and beef brisket toastie and it was delicious. Will deffs be back anytime we are in town.

Beautiful Cafe in Atherton, great Atmosphere and Food. And for a dog owner most importantly very dog friendly. My Dog even got her own plate with little treats. Loved it!

One of the prettiest coffee locations you could find in Atherton. Set in the former train station with carriages fitted out with tables. Flower pots and memorabilia abound. Carriage in front has a model railway that operates for $1 coin; and another has nick nacks, craft and artworks. Only operates Thursday to Sunday.

We found this place thru google map. After browsing the town, Atherton. I had Beef brisket with home made bbq sauce ( the sauce was to die for but personally I love my meat without sauce ) along with my affogato ( delish 😋) and hubby had egg Benedict ( beautiful 😋👌 )with hot chocolate ( a bit blend, couldn't taste the chocolate but its ok😉👍). All the staff were nice and friendly, the portion and the presentation of the food is very good and the price doesn't break the bank like other places.
The place is beautiful, clean, and those carriages for the seating is very good idea, so unique!! We love it!! Highly recommended!👍👍

My husband and I had breakfast at Station Cafe, lovely relaxing place, friendly staff, beautiful scenery settings. It’s is dog friendly cafe. And of course kid friendly, it does have a playground in front of the cafe.

Lovely setting in old train carriages with beautiful blossoming flowers and herbs all around. A country cottage vibe. The electric train model was a hit with the kids. The coffee and food was absolutely delicious. We have been to Atherton a few times over the years and can't believe we never knew about this place. Will definitely visit again.

Great little spot for a coffee, breaky or a spearmint milkshake! My fave!! Dogs allowed which always make the place better!

Gorgeous cafe in Atherton with a train station theme. Lots of seating inside and out, colourful flowers and antique/vintage items of interest everywhere. Warm and friendly staff serving great food and coffees. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely cup of tea in a pretty little location by a creek and as part of an old railway station in Atherton, you can even sit and eat in an old railway carriage.

Be prepared for some quality treat in a special atmosphere. A not so little hidden gem a minute outside Atherton city centre. Great menu, amazing food and lovely staff. If you are tired of standard Aussie cafe menus come here for a treat. You can still order or big brekkie but I highly recommend the specials.

Good food, always busy, friendly staff, fresh atmosphere with walking paths close by with platypus, turtles, duck's and a dog park about 100meters away. Cafe if also dog friendly.

Beautiful breakfast and coffee here this morning. The biggest eggs Benedict with salmon my husbands ever had😜Had to stop him playing with the model railway. Staff just beautiful 🙏🏻Thank you

The food was delicious, friendly staff who were also very accommodating of a young child. The venue is very unique and well thought out. Worth a visit if passing through Atherton
