My husband and I have just come back from a thoroughly enjoyable experience and meal!

The food was divine, the service was lovely.
We were impressed by the flavours, reasonable price and atmosphere.

The business were even so kind as to end our meal with a complimentary desert that was sensational.

We will definitely be returning again!

I tried various dishes but the lamb madras sauce is really delicious, I love the flavor of coconut. Front staff is very polite and decent. She is honest about the time and regarding payment. I get impressed from their service. I will recommend you to go there.

After hearing the new management of this restaurant went up to have dinner with family. Expectations were exceeded.

All the dishes were absolutely delicious and spiced up in absolute authentic way.

With the new management, I am confident this place will grow much faster.

Went there for the first time last night and will go back again and again. The servings were generous and the cooking was so clean you would think it was homemade with a lot of love and care. Really enjoyed our dinner there and we're still talking about it today - we'll be back!

We have been coming here for several years, and always enjoyed eating here. We had dinner here tonight and received excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant is under new management but they have kept the same chef. Our waiter was very attentive and the chef cooked some of our favourite dishes even though they were no longer on the menu. Highly recommended if you enjoy indian cuisine.

I was very impressed by the service of management and quality of food. They provide great services to their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like to have a great dinner with your family and friends and want to enjoy delicious food. Overall, it was a great experience.

Driving down Frederick Road, you'd miss it if you blinked. You'd also miss out on a delicious, authentic Indian experience. Of course they have Butter Chicken but the traditional Indian dishes are also scrumptious. Personal favourites include Lamb Madras, Vegetable Korma, Samosa Chat and spinach and cheese naan. Any of the mains can be had mild, medium or hot. I found that medium wasn't actually that spicy at all, so if you're feeling adventurous, definitely go hot for that extra zing. The service is great, very friendly and punctual. The waitress is more than happy to describe the various flavours each dish offers and can make recommendations according to personal tastes. My one and only criticism is of the bathroom facilities, unfortunately they're not the best. It doubles as a storage area for various other items and is never as clean as it could be. Dera is not an exception though as every Indian restaurant I've been to in Adelaide has the same problem. All in all a great experience, hence why my fiancé and I return on almost a weekly basis for our Indian "fix". As a passionate lover of Indian food, I've tried almost every place in Adelaide but I haven't found one yet that's as good as this.You won't be disappointed with the food or service, it's fantastic.

Last night we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Dera, we dined using a scoopon voucher which makes us travel a bit further afield and we are so glad we did, from the minute we arrived we were made to feel really welcome and the waitress was really knowledgeable about my need for gluten free food as I'm coeliac which always makes me feel more relaxed. The entree plate was amazing and we both loved it, we both thoroughly enjoyed our choice of main, thank you for a delightful meal and evening and we will definitely be back, highly recommend this restaurant, the best Indian meal we have had in ages, thank you!

Great restaurant good food, very friendly

Was a wonderful warm experience from beginning to end, lovely friendly service, food cooked 99.9% oil free, I really enjoyed my chicken curry, very spicy and flavoursome, the beef Vindaloo was hot and tasty, also was the best Gulab Jamun I have ever had. They were very aware of gluten intolerances and varied dishes for my husband.

The taste of the food was amazing. I loved the Lamb Korma and Butter Chicken, the Naan was on point and the service was fast when we were in a rush. Great job.

Great staff, delivered to st Clair with the meals still nice and hot. Butter chicken was amazing! I Will be ordering take away from here again.

The restuarant has changed the management and I was worried about the service. However, I loved the food and the service of new staff. My stay in Adelaide was made fabulous by the new team.
