Would never understand the bad reviews. Came here twice and both were good experiences! The service was polite and fast, the foods were tasty! The nasi lemak taste is so rich of coconut, the prawn sambal was great, the drink in the photo tastes fresh, the noodle and the roti was good too! The place is also clean and tidy.

We really enjoyed our lunch today at papa rich. Disability and baby friendly. The food was excellent and the Teh Tarik was creamy and rich. The lady who served us was very kind and nice. I would recommend coming here for a Malaysian fix !

Food was as you’d expect from a PappaRich. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Exactly what I expected and delicious. Would come again.

The guy that seemed like the manager was extremely attentive and professional. All the staff were wonderful and welcoming.

This is what Newtown was missing! We enjoy having food from paparich as always. Tried after a long time. (Probably before covid!)

I never tried Malaysian food before except packaged soup from supermarkets. I ordered Chicken Laksa Curry Soup and Lemon tea. Both were very delicious. The restaurant is quiet, clean with the clean restroom, and professional waitresses. 10/10.

Had such a pleasant experience here. Had the curry chicken with noodles and the nasi goreng which was delish! Big shoutout to the lovely girl who served us. She was so attentive and kind and made us feel so welcome!

Amazing employees (Shuaib), Amazing food, and Amazing service. I adored PappaRich in Newtown, and I heartily recommend trying their Malaysian food and their Malaysian milk tea. Try the Nasi Kunyit turmeric rice with Roti Canai on the side, Char Koay Teow noodle chicken with a glass of Mango mania & the Lychee soda :) very satisfying x

I tried the Chicken Laksa & Caramel Sago Pudding, which was solid 10/10..

The staffs, Smiti & Ayesha were so nice & friendly..
My phone was running low on batt & tried my luck by asking her for an Android charger.. Amazingly, there was one at their counter & they helped me with that..(cause ride back home was 40min I'd have died without my phone, so I really really appreciate that help)

Pappa Rich in Newtown has EXCEPTIONAL service. The main waiter checked with us to make sure they got the order correct, he checked with the chef on whether the changes we requested on one dish was possible. He even went outside to say bye to customers. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Only if the review had 10 stars. The meal was unlike anything I've ever had before, Shuaib, and the service was exceptional. In Newtown, I absolutely adored PappaRich, and I wholeheartedly urge you to try their Malaysian cuisine and Malaysian milk tea. Try the Char Koay Teow noodle chicken with a glass of Mango madness and the Lychee soda, as well as the Nasi Kunyit turmeric rice with Roti Canai on the side. All are quite tasty.

Was such a nice experience, almost felt like i know them for years, although it was our first time there.

The ambience is also top notch and had a chat with the head chef Ranjit who is a pioneer in what he does.

I wish them all the best. Taking a sip from the teh tarik felt like i was having a cup of tea seating in Malaysia. Excellent stuff.

i think when u go to malay restaurant 1st u have to try nasi lemak , i always order nasi lemak nothing else coz it malay food

Just been with my friends Enjoyed the food a lot., char keow teow was my favourite.

Delicious meal with very good, friendly service. We had the roti canai with curry chicken, Kaya toast and laksa. Yum!
