ALDI replaced from foodworks. happy to see random household items such as kettles, pet products,coffee machines!! only thing which is bothering is when we pass to main area, we can't easily go back to entrance(for fresh products).They have battery recycle bin too! Overall it is great supermarket for Newtowen locals who are far from coles/woolworth.

This is such a great shop and really close to Newtown station. Always has heaps of variety and the staff are really nice. As someone who works in the city, I love that I can pop in after getting off the train and grab some groceries without any hastles.

The team of shift managers and Lily (staff member) at this location helped me locate my lost phone in the store during peak hour and after hours (spending hours to find it). I would like to say thank you to the team for going above and beyond to help and listen to my situation. It is thanks to them that I have my phone back!

High quality of green and fruit produce. For a small supermarket here on Kings Street, Newton the array of fresh produce, bread, and even organic food is great. So helpful.

Has a bakery section with sweet and savoury pastries including French croissants, pain aux raisin, Danish pastries, donuts, cinnamon buns, Portuguese custard tarts and German pretzels. Wild Origin breads such as rustic baguette, Kalamata olive and sprouted rye. World Kitchen sandwiches, wraps and sushi. Corner store branded products are exclusively stocked here.

OK they may not have everything you want but is a very pleasant experience. Well set out and hard working polite staff (especially Vinnie and Jack)

Navin definitely knows his job, man's working hard and learning fast. Gave me direction to exactly where I can find the things I need, if that is not a five star employee in the making I don't know what is.
Kind of sad we don't sell lard tho.

Welcome addition to a monopoly that was IGA and Foodworks over charging for basic necessities.
While not a small local business we prefer having reasonable prices and fresh produce and often changing varieties.
Longer opening hours would be great.
Perhaps self service that accepts cash so the only register isn’t held up by people grabbing a few things.

I am very biased because I love ALDI, but it's great how they always have everything in stock, the store is well presented, the staff are very helpful and everything is super affordable. I strongly recommend shopping here.

Was everything that anyone needed to get of most things that you may need. But thay haven't got a lot of stuff that your looking for

So happy Aldi is in Newtown! I go there multiple times a week

It's about time they came to Newtown. It's not the biggest of stores but it packs a lot in.

This place took over our local and much loved Food works. We miss them.

Yesterday, the male attendant at the self-checkout was very helpful and patient. He helps a lot!

Hoping for the alcohol section to come by which will be a game changer. Otherwise such a nice spot with amazing staff.

Only non Woolworths I can walk to.
