Love this place! Like Toys R Us! Huge, ample parking spaces, inside is very well designed and each section has their headings so you know where to look. There's also toilets inside, great idea especially when you have little ones who "don't" need to go lol ! Love the kid friendly flooring designs around the store and the staff are super friendly!! Huge discounts on many of the products around. If you haven't been, def go and start that Xmas shopping early before the huge rush come November! My new go to store 😊

Would like to say a Big Thank You to staff member Hunter for his initiative to check if the electronic toy I bought works- unpacked, changed new batteries, went back to the aisle and tested another similar toy to confirm one Im bringing home will work well. And Thank You to the cashier Mia for taking time with my membership she has a calm demeanour. Love the vibes from these two staff at Toymate JOONDALUP very helpful and patient to say the lease. Toys are well priced. I am stoked we got a toy car that could fit 2 dolls for only $10. What a steal!

Great Toy Store with Lots n Lots of toys for kids of all ages. Great Prices as well and they will match and beat by 5% as well.

I visited toymate in Joondalup on Friday.
I went in, frantically trying to find a waterslide for my sons Christmas present (I had ordered one on Amazon over a month ago and they decided to change the original delivery which was set for 3rd December to the 10th of January!)
I walked to the back of the store where the water toys are, but couldn’t see them anywhere, there was a lovely man staking some shelves, who I asked to help me, I explained my situation and asked if there was any way I could get my hands on one, most retail workers would take one look and just say “nup, can’t see them” and that would be that.
He was very helpful and said that he couldn’t see any on the floor but he would go out the back and have a look for me, not only did he manage to find me one out the back, he also took it up the the register for me, helped me load it into my car and took my trolley back to the store for me, which I was using to cart my other purchases!
Extremely impressed with toymates customer service and not only their customer service but I have also noticed their prices have become a lot more competitive too!

Huge store, with lots of products. Massive range of Lego from budget to high end. Purchased some bargain Buzz lightyear toys for my son and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Oh em gee! The range! Love this store, good sales, and a big thankyou to the fab customer service at Christmas time for playing along and helping me keep the toys I was buying out of my child's sight. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend 👌 but please get afterpay in store and online

I went into Toymate Joondalup this afternoon looking for a specific toy for a friends son and some toys for my daughter, Ethan approached me to ask if I needed help finding anything. He provided the most exceptional level of customer service I have ever experienced. He was so helpful and so willing to go the extra mile to ensure I found everything I needed and had a positive experience in the store. He grabbed me a basket when I found more than I had intended to purchase and brought me toys while I was browsing that fit what I was looking for as added options. He was fantastic. I will definitely go back as it was such a good customer experience, all the staff were friendly but Ethan was next level amazing.

They've taken over the old Toys R Us and done a great job with the store layout. It's nice and open lots of place for the kids to pay around of need be. Great range if toys. My daughter really enjoyed the store

With the sad closing of Toys R Us, Toymate reopened with a new feel for kids and adults who are kids at heart to enjoy the childhood atmosphere that only toystores could offer. Very bright store with colourful decals. Toys that are new but classics were sold also. And lovely, young staff.

Awesome toy store. Absolutely lovely staff, so helpful with a great sense of humour and endless patience plus there's a huge variety and reasonable prices especially items that are on special are often cheaper than the shopping centres!!
