Opal City Chinese Restaurant

Really tasty, fresh meal! We were the only folk in the restaurant tonight, but given top quality hospitality on a quiet night. The meals were perfectly sized and filling. Not sure why others have said their meals were small, perhaps they're use to a massive serve of chips... Anyhow, we were overwhelmed by the lovely service and delicious, authentic meals! Thanks for having us.

Dont be fool by the low review. This place serves decent Chinese dishes. Wish we have more time in Coober Pedy to support them.

Lovely couple running the restaurant and the food was very tasty. Our expectations were low but left impressed.

A fabulous country Chinese restaurant with standard menu and service for a neighbourhood restaurant of its size. I don’t understand why this place hasn’t rated higher.

I loved the salt and pepper prawns and there salt and pepper pork rids, wife had the chicken in black beans

A bit pricey but I think it is justified being in Coober Pedy. Food is delicious

The food was good. We had fried rice and prawn with seasonal mixed vegetables. Staff were friendly. We didn’t get knives to cut our food??? Nice overall

The vegetables were fresh and the meal was tasty but portion sizes were disappointing . We bought takeaway and both of the containers were not filled properly . We paid for a large rice and only just a little over 3/4 full. They could do better .
