Post Office Lodge, Inneston

Fabulous stay. Great facilities including fully equipped kitchen - every small detail taken care of. Comfy bed. Bathroom towels provided (but not hand towel). No soap provided - bring your own. Has dishwashing liquid and sponges in the kitchen. Didn't see a lot of animals this time round but a lot of wandering tourists come past and look. Even though they saw our car next to the accommodation, they still came up and sat at our outside table thinking it was a rest stop 🤣🤣🤣. Then I'd pop my head outside and say "can I help you"! .Loved our 3 night stay here. Property kept very clean. Near a salt lake.

The lodge was very rustic. It was a different but very pleasant experience staying two nights at this place. There is no TV, internet or mobile phone coverage (gave us a chance to cut off from the world for a relaxing time).
There are no toiletries (other than toilet paper) or tea/coffee/milk supplied. However the kitchen is very well equipped with all modern facilities. The bathroom is spacious and renovated with modern amenities.

This is a great getaway from the city. Wake up with kangaroos outside your door and the sound of the ocean. The rooms are fitted out perfectly with modern kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. At night it is absolutely silent apart from the possums running across the roof. Mental note.. don't watch Wolf Creek just before you go because those possums will mess with your head.

They came at night. Scratching and laughing at the windows. I thought they were inside. I couldn't sleep. They wanted my bread. Emus. They won't let me sleep
