Less than 10min walk to the beach from the camp ground! What more do you want! Would come back again!
(Put away your things/rubbish at night as kangaroos will knock them over and make a mess 🙃)

Only 8 camp sites so booking early is a must. 5 min walk to one of the best beaches in the National Park. Long drop toilets were pretty clean not smelly at all. Most sites had shade all day. Definitely will be back.

Nature at it's finest. Wildflowers were out in full force. One of the treasures of the planet 💚

Shell beach camp is about 200mtr from the beach. It's a basic camp set up with a drop toilet. I was in camp number 2 which I wouldn't recommend because it doesn't have must room to park your vehicle. All the other campsites seem fine and if you enjoy your privacy don't book number 1 or 2 campsites. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back again.

Been here for the beach/rock pool only and was very pleased about how it has been kept naturally. The beach stretches a good 3min walk until it meets the rock pools. Here you will find sand crabs and spectacular wave crashes on the rocks. The beach itself is well recognised for its large waves and heavy sand. Despite what the beach name suggests, the only shells you will see are scattered across the entire beach. (Sand)

Convenient campsite, a bit dusty (mostly dirt, not a ton of shade). Sites can be on the smaller side depending on which ones you get. Close to the beach, within walking distance, just be careful of the hot sand (highly recommend bringing some sun shelter in the hot months, not much shade on the beach).

Standard drop toilets, in relatively good nic, only a small rain tank for water to wash hands (no drinking).

There is a cool hut that can be hired as a campsite, would definitely recommend.

Also check out the salt lakes and the lighthouse walk, amazing views.

This is the SA pearl of Yorke. Many different camp sites and walks to suit anybody. Could be windy at times, but it's quite sheltered for winds from North to South. Reasonable prices, service at the friendly reception for bookings and advices. You have to bring water and food, the closest food store is far away, esp. from the remote sites which are twenty km from reception. I wish everybody a happy visit and the chances are good that it will be so. Shell beach has 8 sites of different sizes in a circle, some are shaded, es.p. #1, 7, 8.

Bit of a tight squeeze with a campervan, but still plenty of room. Highly recommend booking Campsites 7 and 8 if you have a larger vehicle. Long drop toilet was clean and well looked after.

Awesome beach, lots of wild life. I understand it's a national park but facilities are poor
