Cam provides a methodical approach to guitar learning, one that is structured and logically stepped where you will be tested mentally and physically at times, but you will feel confident that your hard work will pay off, because everything Cam challenges you with is backed with experience from himself as an accomplished guitar player and his years spent as a guitar teacher. Cam gives his students exercises and study to complete each week and will hold everyone accountable for their efforts, but will also be right there to provide support and guidance if you are struggling, and will do so in an empathetic and open manner. Every single thing that you need from a teacher in order to become a great guitarist, Cam is all of that and more. I have had guitar lessons with Cam for a year and I have really improved my guitar skills and confidence while playing. Cam is an excellent teacher, he listens to our students' needs very well. He is very organised which I really appreciate. Whenever I have been stuck or lost on my guitar path he finds a way to motivate me and push my learning. Cam has a lot of empathy, he has the ability to teach you from the basic steps while you build strength, knowledge, and practice until you are playing songs that you never thought you could, even with the guitar solos!! He also has a very supportive community on Discord and when I was unable to attend at his place he was able to deliver the class online without affecting my guitar learning process.

As a self-taught intermediate guitar player, I've been taking guitar lessons with Cam for just under 2 months and the results are undeniable. Cam has opened up the fretboard for me in this short time and has expanded my playing. Cam's approach is to find your strengths and weaknesses and to develop a specific plan tailored for yourself. Originally, there were a lot of gaps in my guitar knowledge, but over the weeks I've learnt to go back and build on my foundations, covering scales and picking techniques and exercises. I've been getting lessons with Cam for almost 18 months now, and am stoked with how much progress I've made in that time. Cam really invests in his students, and it makes a heap of difference. The more you invest in your playing as a student, the more he will invest in it as your teacher. He pushes you to become a better player, but never puts pressure on you. Cam has always been extremely supportive and motivating. The more i get taught by Cam, the more I enjoy playing and the more I want to keep getting better.

Cam is an absolutely brilliant guitar player and teacher. If you want to learn guitar from fresh or take your playing to the next level, he's your guy. I have tried many times to learn guitar before on my own but nothing quite stuck, however Cam has me feeling even more excited and motivated to play than I did during my first lesson. I can't put my guitar down!

He has an amazing teaching style, he will structure his lessons around the way you learn and keeps lessons fun and engaging by getting you to play what you are interested in. He adjusts lessons based on your playing style and where your weaknesses are. He is the perfect amounts of patience and understanding while pushing you just hard enough to make you sweat but not want to quit. He calls a spade a spade and you will get out of the lesson what you put into it, if you give it your all he will turn you into a shredder in no time!

Learning electric guitar with Cam for almost a year now. Enjoy the sessions and end up enjoying my practice as well. Cam always has advice after watching me play that makes me understand what I'm doing wrong, right and what I need to do/think differently. Some teachers will have a rule book to
follow, a one size fits all approach, but I don’t think this works with art. You need someone who can personalise lessons to your particular goals and playing ability, a clear message on what the end game is and to in-still a trust in the process to get there.
Many people can shred but there’s an art in being able to teach and I think that’s Cams biggest strength. If you’re looking for a mentor to guide you on your magical journey from your bedroom to playing wailing solos on the top of a mountain through 500 Marshall stacks then Cam is your guy!

I've been with Cam bird for around a year now, and I often forget to thank him, so here I go.
Cam is very good at assessing my abilities and interests and adjusting his lesson accordingly. He makes the lessons fun and also challenging. He often goes out of his way to learn about my interests in music, he is a gifted musician but also highly skilled at teaching. He works well with me and has a flexible schedule. He is firm which I love but also fair, he is kind friendly and patient especially with me as I'm learning from the beginning. Cam walks me through the theory, as well as the details of the guitar. I was so nervous when I first went to Cam but now I am pretty confident I can learn anything he gets me to play. Thanks for the great lessons and I always can't wait to see him for next challenge. Highly recommend Cam's guitar lessons. I've been doing them for about 6 months now, having previously been mainly Youtube taught. Cam's disciplined, structured and holistic approach has been phenomenal and very enjoyable.

While learning songs that I have always wanted to learn, he has guided me in establishing solid foundations with finger strength and good technique, focusing the lessons on the specific areas that will lead to the best results for my guitar goals.

Cam has been my guitar mentor for a few months now. He quickly picked up the way i learn and has adapted his teachings accordingly.
