Devils Kitchen GOW Campground

Hard slog up a hill to get here if you take the route along Wreck beach! It's best known for its loo with a view. Has an equally spectacular lookout point just past campsite 8. Sites 2-4 are close to the shelter, water and loo and site 3 has its own small bench seat. Site 4 has a larger table that is supposed to be shared I think. Loo didn't have an extraction fan like the other loos at the GOW campsites but not much of a smell surprisingly! Must be booked, just like all the other campsites on the walk.

Beautiful hike in campsite. 2 water tanks that were still filled with untreated water end of December. Best View from a toilet can be seen at this campsite! Worth it just for a great view from a loo over looking the coastline. The sites are small but spacious enough for smaller groups. Less secluded than others but beautiful. Great place to view the coast and sunset/rise behind site 8. Beautiful part of the world.

winds were relentless but views are stunning (both viewable from the toilet and camping ground 8!! ;D) what a lovely campsite to end the great ocean walk hike

5 stars by Victorian standards, 3 by Tasmanian standards, and 2 compared to NZ. The dunny with a view is magnificent, and the shelter is good for 3 1/2 seasons.

Best bush toilet I've used. Only other that can contend is the one near Mt Howitt. There were a heap of Jumping Jack ants around though, so be cautious of these

Must try the toilet with your heart!!! (or maybe bottom as well)

Finished my journey in the Great Ocean Walk last year. This campsite has the most stunning toilet block I have ever seen in my life!
It's summer time. After a tough day walking, you have just set up the tent and you decide to go to the toilet and release yourself. Setting down, you will see the golden sun slowly falls to the sea level right through the big window. There is nothing but you, the warm sea breeze, dancing bushes, golden seashore and the toilet beneath you left in the world.
The greatest toilet experience of all time!

Nicely maintained and great view from the campsite, a good break after the long walk from the 12 apostles

Lovely hike in site which is the last night of the Great Ocean Walk. Two water tanks which as of yesterday the 8th of Jan only one had a little bit of water in and the other was empty. Also very little water in any of the creeks around it. Site 8 has an amazing view down to Wreck Beach.

Gorgeous. If you do the GOW you must stay here. Private campsites, communal facilities, tank water, all enclosed in the beautiful heath. And then there's that sunset 🏖
