Princetown Wetlands Boardwalk

What a peaceful place, can't complain what life

It is a beautiful place. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent

Very pretty, and undervisited as people are rushing to the 12 apostles and Gibson's steps

Beautiful bird life and an obvious favourite spot for local fishermen. Boat ramp, jetty, wetlands walk with brilliant signage that tells us how to find some very interesting birds. A blue web followed me around, which I felt was amazing.

Great walk to the beach from the Apostles camp ground and walks along the cliffs to the left and right of the beach. It's really nice to be surrounded by reeds in all directions and the walkway is in good condition.

Not going to deny a fellow poster/review - Paul Pavlinovich - his moment in the sun. His review has absolutely nailed the essence of the Princetown Boardwalk. Sure it's reasonably short (I'm tipping somewhere between 300-500 m in length). You access it from a short, reasonably steep downhill track that runs pretty much from the side of the general store up on top of the knoll (from the Princetown end, at least. And the was open last time I was there. It can have a habit of being passed through different owners sometimes, so perhaps - as of writing this - it's not actually operating as a store). The walk takes you above the wetlands and, as Paul suggests, the noise of wind creeping the grass is cool. The boardwalk ends at the Gellibrand River, and it you continue walking you hit the entrance to the final leg of the Great Ocean Walk, a short(ish) 7 or so kms from here to Gibsons Steps, and thereafter about another 1km (or so) onto the Twelve Apostles.

Nice short walk from the recreation reserve

Nice place to enjoy the nature. You can start a walk to the twelve apostles from there, about 7 km. But I just stopped around for about 10/15 minutes.

Lovely walk. It's the last leg before the 12 appostles. Was a nice peaceful route just before being hit by the million of tourists at the appostles

Nice,quiet, relaxing short walk with amazing views every direction.

Overcast but still a wonderful place to visit, plenty of birds, so rug up and walk the beach or river.

Beautiful place except Daniel ( Teflon ) Andrews has gotten his mitts on it and now it's getting redeveloped 🤬🤬🤬
