Arabella Country House

Neil and Lyn were the most amazing hosts! There was an issue with booking.com and we arrived without a confirmed booking, but they took us in anyway and from start to finish we received excellent service.

The room was very comfortable and it was great to wake up each morning to the view of rolling fields and the ocean as a backdrop.

Breakfast each morning was a delight and Neil was just a wealth of information regarding the local area. We will definitely visit again!

The room was clean, spacious, with elegant furniture. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones that we had during our 25-day journey. We also loved the exquisite interior and enjoyed viewing the garden❤

Breakfast of multiple options was provided regardless we were the only two guests that night/day. We enjoyed the breakfast in the beautiful living room, watching colorful cockatoos and parrots.

10min drive from 12 Apostles ; 20 mins drive from Melba Gully. We had a nice and safe drive back from beautiful sunset from Gibbons Steps and 12 Apostles. We didn’t see grocery stores or other stores nearby, but it didn’t bother us. We enjoyed the sunset, took a shower, and went to bed. What a cozy countryside night!

Beautiful home in a relaxing and scenic location. Neil and Lynn are wonderful and welcoming hosts who take the time to cook wonderful breakfasts that will make you feel like royalty. They are also happy to help you with any queries you may have about the area or to just have a chat. There are cows in a paddock that you can see from your room. The rooms are large and have a TV and sizeable bathroom with towels for your use. Neil and Lynn even offer bottled water and softdrink upon arrival. It feels like a home away from home and we highly recommend you stay here if you're looking for a getaway along the Great Ocean Road :)

We experienced an excellent level of hospitality during our stay at Arabella (home of the eagles) homestead. Lynne has been in the business for 40 years and knows how to look after her guests. Stunning location with spectacular views and wildlife.

Arabella country house is wonderful for great ocean visitors, you will be facilitated by neil and lynne who has great attitude towards visitors and they are open minded people with friendly talk. The place is super clean and nicely decorated. Good on you guys ! Lynne and neil.

On the wall at Arabella is a certificate proudly showing their visitor's rating; 9.6 out of ten. This is proper old-school hospitality, done superbly.

Neil and Lynne are so lovely and the rooms are the most comfortable and cleanest I think we have stayed in. Breakfast hit the spot for this perfect B&B

Visité en 2018. Neil et Lynn ont été d un accueil très chaleureux. Nous faisant profiter de leur expérience et de leur anecdote, ayant vécus ici toute leur vie. Longue vie à eux 2 !

房子是个特别大的乡村house，有4个房间可以出租给游客，内部装修非常英式很精致。早餐极其丰盛，房东老太太Lynne一大早起来给房客们准备早餐，非常美味（菜原材料是她每周一次开车1小时去附近一个中等大小的超市采购的）。我们吃的水果，牛奶咖啡，面包，煎鸡蛋＋炒黄豆，煎鸡蛋＋煎培根＋煎蘑菇好吃极了，这是我在海外民宿吃过最丰盛最美味的早餐。房东还免费提供可以晾衣服的地方，自己可以拿水管洗车。这是个值得多住几天的house，我们会想念这里的。
