Steamers Bar and Grill

I have been waiting years to go here! When the time would come something would happen and it just wasn't meant to be. FINALLY got here and it did not disappoint in the slightest!!

The previous 5 star reviews all explain exactly our experience here. The food was beautiful, filling and delicious, couldn't fault it at all!!! The staff, just as good! Super friendly and attentive, just happy servers that gave of a lovely vibe, which always makes the dining experience even better!!

My wife and I did one each of the summer sharing menu which included Pork belly baos, woodfire cooked calamari, Fish & Chips & the short rib. Now there wasn't a single issue with anything at all except the one or two pieces of the calamari being just under, the food was so outrageous that it didnt matter in the slightest.

The fish n chips was a massive serving and perfectly cooked. The short rib, could have been eaten with a spoon it was so tender and fall off the bone, exactly as you expect. All the food above looked exactly like instagram/social media posts which was amazing to see. We left full, happy and half tipsy after we tried numerous delicious cocktails!!!

Overall, 5 stars easy, and will go again and again. Lived up to the hype and couldn't be happier with everything.

Absolutely delicious and stunning views. We shared the Laska and Bao Buns, perfect for a lunch with their Chocolate Panna Cota to finish, all wonderful dishes.

Great restaurant with free 4 hour parking. Best steak I’ve had in a while with stunning view of Wollongong beach.

It's an absolutely delightful place .. we booked over the phone, and the lady on the other end was very polite and happy to make booking .. the food was great and HUGE servings .. cocktails delightful .. but the highlight was the service.. the waiter was cheerful and genuinely wanted to serve .. 6/5 stars to him .. overall a great evening

The oysters, steak & wine were superb. The wait staff were professional & very friendly. Our last night in the Gong was made even more memorable because of this dinner.

My husband and I came here tonight for our 7th year wedding anniversary. A simple dinner, just us without the kids, to reminisce and hold gratitude for what has been our last 7 years of marriage. Our waiter was Ruby and she was absolutely fabulous. 10 years ago, before marriage and kids we used to wine and dine on a weekly basis and our experience has always been made all the more better by not only the staff but the waiters at restaurants. Ruby tonight without even knowing made our experience all that more fantastic and we couldn’t thank her enough! 10/10 recommend not only Ruby but steamers and their food, the wine list was next to none I’ve ever seen. Thank you.

Wow wow wow! Had my son's 18th birthday celebration last night & the food from the group menu was absolutely delicious, providing a beautiful variety of flavours & servings that were incredibly generous. Our dedicated wait-person anticipated and delivered on our every need. Even from the time of booking, the staff were so flexible with accommodating my requests. A number of our group are now converts to this amazing gem & will of course be back. Thank you for making this night so special!

Good spot for date night meal.

Highly recommend sharing meals like they recommend on the menus. The food is amazing, the desserts could have a few more options but I still can't fault the ones we got.

The service is lovely and very polite.

Will be returning for a another dinner sometime soon.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here we ordered the chilled and hot ocean board.
It was the most incredible sea food dinner we have ever eaten, every mouthful was truly a delight and the service impeccable.

This is so fantastic! We ordered the Hot and Cold Board for sharing! Menu says it is for 2, but I think it can serve more like 3-4!

Great ambience facing the ocean! Calming and relaxing. Also have bands in the bar too! Highly recommend!

The food was incredible! Chloe K was our server and she went above and beyond. She was extremely kind and ensured we had everything we needed to have a great night. Steamers Bar and Grill is beyond lucky to have such a dedicated worker on their team.

Had an amazing experience here. Everyone so friendly and make you feel welcomed. The service was fast, we didn't have to wait long for food to come out. The oysters are really good! We also ordered the calamari, it was soft and easy to chew, definitely fresh. The Moroccan beef ribs fell off the bone, spectacular flavours.
Finished off with the peach crumble, delicious dessert. Would definitely come again! Highly recommend.

Had an awesome table with a great view, food was exceptional as was the service from Jenny. Considering we drove from the blue mountains we were so happy. Also a shout out to the manager on (didn't get his name) who was great as well (good luck for the run in May)

We booked for a party of 10 just the day before we arrived and everything was organised for us.
Brilliant location with beach views. The food was delicious with a great variety of choices making it hard to actually decide what to have. All meals that come out looked just as fantastic as the next. The staff were very attentive and we were looked after well. A great environment and would definitely visit again someday.

Went for a Birthday Lunch with over 8 people, very accommodating and not a forced set menu. Excellent service with staff regularly checking in for drinks. Also children were catered for with seating and food options. Great view of the water on the balcony, food options were excellent with a large range of seafood and other alternatives. Many oyster topping choices and they were good, a bit pricey for the area but not too overpriced for the quality. Fish and chips were huge, so portion sizing is generous. Would recommend for a large gathering or family meal.
