Hastings Foreshore Reserve

Nice big area for walking, running and cycling lined with mangroves. A good playground and BBQ area to the south end too.

Great to take the dogs out with plenty of open space. Lots of interesting walks in the surrounding areas and some great views of wildlife along the way.

Other reviews noted about dog owners not picking-up after their dog but we didn't observe any of this and the ground was clear.

Great spot for enjoying natural beauty of the Hastings area. Great view of the lake and lush greenery. Wonderful spot for your doggos to run wild. Also attended the Vinehop Festival 2023, which was a mad event!

The perfect place to build up an appetite for lunch, followed by an afternoon of shopping. Peaceful and quiet, even on a warm Sunday in winter.

Great walking space for both dog owners and dogs.

There was an open air market on here. My younger cousins had a ball at the playground. Older cousins just enjoyed the outing.

Lovely area for a good stroll. My daughter loves the skate park with her scooter and the playground is fairly well equipped.

Love The Hastings Foreshore & Boardwalk. Great place to walk the dogs & chat to friendly people. Easy to access for fresh air & exercise. Great for families & all age groups. Kids can play in the park, use the skateboard ramp, go biking with mum & dad or fly a kite. A good place for a run or leisurely stroll on the boardwalk. BYO picnic or use the BBQs provided. Short walk to the shops for ice cream or fish & chips or visit the 'Pelikan Societe for excellent fresh chai latte, coffee & cake or try their wonderful pancakes with berries. The menu has a nice variety for lunch & you can sit inside or out with views of the water everywhere.

We take our dog down almost everyday for a big run and a play. Haven't had a problem with any other dogs or people. Only issue is the lack of people picking up after their dogs.

This is a great spot to have a walk or a picnic ,toilets nearby, pier nearby ,playground for the kids ,cafe as well if required ☕

Awesome place to take a relaxing walk with or without your dog.
People are very curious and friendly ....and the dogs have a ball.
I enjoy finishing my day there and having a nice walk with my best mate.
