Right off the sand of the beach, with cute little tables under a canopy. I’m a fan of the hot teas here. They also offer a decent variety of cute and tasty brunch foods. Tends to get busy at times but it’s worth the wait.

Obviously one of the best beach locations around, especially if you're lucky enough to get one of the beach facing window tables!
Tasty dishes to choose from and the service was faster than we'd expected, considering it was a pretty almost at capacity... which if often the case. Just a little disappointing that the fresh juices/frappes taste a bit diluted each time?
Still... it's a great place to go for brunch and watch the world go by!

It was a wet Friday, but Diggies improved our mood. It is perched close to the blowhole but there is plenty of parking nearby. It looks nothing much approaching but was amazingly light filled indoors & freshly decorated - think beach/Hampton style. There is outdoor seating, but this wasn't an option on our visit. Book to be guaranteed a table as many people were being turned away. Service was with a big smile. The food was up to a good standard. My sister gave her lamb pappardelle for $26 a 9 out of 10. My pumpkin & feta salad for $20 was up to expectations. There were 2 other very interesting salad options I would try next time. We ordered sourdough bread as a side & got a huge serve for $8. We looked out over the water as we enjoyed a glass of pinot grigio each.

We had Breakfast and lunch 2 days while we stayed in Wollongong. Every dish served was freshly cooked and presented beautifully.

The caesar salad was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I just loved it. I’ve been craving it ever since eating it. Sure, it took an hour to arrive and my cappuccino that I ordered was watery and weak, but it doesn’t matter because the caesar salad was so great. 5/5 stars for caesar salad

A vibrant cafe right on the waterfront. Busy but efficient waitlist system and relatively quick turnover/short wait time, especially if dining alone or in pairs. Staff are alert, aware and attentive. Very friendly and competent. I had the bacon and egg roll yesterday - forgot to take a photo but it was delicious and good value for money. I had the Shrooms today - OMG it was soooooo tasty and just something different. The Bloody Mary is very reference and flavoursome. Coffee was consistently good both days. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Beautiful food, service and setting, 10/10 for everything. Nice view of the beach from the outdoor seating. Wide range of items on the menu, average prices but very good for what you receive. Would recommend getting there a bit early as they are quite popular and due to restrictions can only sit a limited amount.

Diggies Sun Up, fruit toast and cappuccino X 2 for breakfast. Coffee that tastes like coffee, speedy service with a smile, great location... I wonder why I go out of my way to have breakfast at Diggies.. Next visit: add whale watching to the breakfast menu today. Then there was porridge, fruit toast, fruit juice and a mug-sized cappuccino.

Great location on a nice day. We sat on the deck at lunch time and it was really good. The Salmon Noice salad was really good with crispy salmon skin.

Superb location and friendly staff with nice welcoming smile . Food was cooked to perfection and served in time. We did have to wait for 5 minutes for an empty table and to be seated. They offered the kids menu with some drawings on the back and colors. Highly recommended for a nice sea view in Wollongong.

What a wonderful surprise! With the North Beach Pavilion restaurant temporarily closed, we stumbled upon Diggies and loved it. Although we tend to do the standard hamburger and chips on rare occasions, Diggies certainly did not disappoint. Juicy seasoned beef, luscious mayo and salad, and absolutely morish chips, all served with a smile, and with uninterrupted, expansive views of the beach and the world passing by. Will definitely be back.

A staple by the water, this cafe is great. Lots of space, great view of the water, delicious food and good coffee all add up to make this place what it is. Dog friendly as well, it is easy to see why this place is so popular!
