Secret Kitchen Noodles & BBQ

Really nice food and service for wonderful Thursday night! No need to wait for the table and the young waiter is quite nice. When we asked if we can pay extra money for the fourth refreshment (we were only eating for two but dim sum usually comes with three in per serving), the waitress apologetically said she could not increase the number of refreshments, but we were surprisingly find that our refreshments had been cut open, that's sweet. The roast duck is delicious too!

We got the bbq pork on dry noodles and beef brisket on rice; both dishes were excellent! Really tasty, (honestly the best bbq pork I've had in a long time). On top of that the whole menu is very reasonably priced, especially for the quite large portion sizes. The staff are super friendly and nice and the atmosphere is great. We'll definitely be back!

I was thinking about whether I should give 5 stars or not and did because I could not think of a single negative thing about this place. We got the mushroom, chicken and Chinese sausage fried rice, roast combo with roast pork and duck and a char kway teo. For a drink we got the taro smoothie with coconut milk. Everything was amazing. The fried rice hit so different and was bomb af. The roast duck was just the right saltiness and the pork was good maybe slightly gamey. The char kway teo was equally great. The taro smoothie was amazing. Like I would go again to get that. Overall the service was great and food was amazing.

Surprisingly good, they pick the perfect part of pork to make the perfect Cha Siu! The roast pork is the crispiest I have had in Melbourne. The fried rice has the ‘wok’ scent which totally cure my homesick! I would recommend ordering the Cantonese dishes instead of other Asian dishes!

One of our favourite restaurant. Feel more like cafe rather than restaurant. Cozy. Just love the food here.good volume good price good taste. Haven't had one dish that it wasn't nice as yet. Service is good. There is one extremely friendly young guy. He is so nice.

What a wonderful local hidden gem this is! I discovered this place through a Groupon and although they had sold out of the roast pork and I had to wait, it was well worth it. The roast pork was tender and moist and the crackling crisp and crunchy to perfection. The bbq pork was flavoured perfectly and again super moist. I added a serve of Singapore noodles and this didn't disappoint either. Serving are reasonably priced and a decent size. Coupled with superb customer service (even opening the door for us on entry and exit) made for a memorable experience and I'll certainly be back.

Outside of Chadstone shopping centre is one of our favourite Chinese restaurants! Small place but great service and the food is packed with flavour! Worth every dollar!!

Finally found some good chicken rice in the area that tastes great, is served how it should be and is the same style we have grown up on with Asian family. The duck, noodles and meat combos we have had have all been cooked very well too. Delicious. Thanks to the team at Chadstone!

Great Customer Service. My order did not arrive and upon asking the staff, they were apologetic and the order arrived within 5 minutes. Food is tasty and prices are reasonable. 👏👏👏

Ordered a roast combo with roast duck, roast pork and char siu. All wete outstanding, especially the carsiu as other places tend to make it quite dry. This one isnt at all! Steamed veggies and rice were also excellent. I know it sounded simple but it's the simple dishes that many places mess up.

Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

This was my first time visit and the entire experience was exceptional. The wait staff were attentive but in no way pushy. The hostess sincerely asked me how everything was and it was a pleasure to honesty say that all was great and delicious, seriously, awesome dumplings.

Fairly tasty yumcha, their chicken feet and fried calamari are must tries. Their red rice steam rolls were not bad, while the prawn on the inside was nice and crispy, the wrapping was a bit too soggy.

Delicious BBQ dishes. Fixed my cravings for Cantonese food every time! The food quality is consistent and you can tell their chefs/cooks are very experienced in what they do!

It’s a nice restaurant. We tried the BBQ and it was good compare to any other chinese BBQ we tried before. It was just great and will definitely be back here!
