Spent the Valentines night with my maiden family in Box Hill, Melbourne for Chinese New Year dinner $1388. Can feed 12. Lobster needle is super! We love the wagyu beef cube with truffle and the fresh rock fish! Veggies can be cooked with less oil and salt, still delicious. The service is SO Much better than our hotel restaurant. Our big table is attached to the window side couch, so even the toddle also enjoyed the 2 hrs dinner with laughters and smiles!

❤: For all you sweet-toothed foodies (like me), Secret Kitchen has treats you can't miss! The durian puff is an explosion of fragrant delight (durians are not smelly! Lol) and the flakey warm egg tart just melts in your mouth. 🥮 And if you haven't tried the Zhaliang, imagine crispy fried Chinese doughnuts snuggled inside delicate rice noodles. Absolute yumminess in every bite! Also, who knew yumcha dishes were this yellow 💛🤣

We got such a warm welcome from everyone and the service was fast.
Everything tasted great and the seafood was fresh.
The actual restaurant itself is really fancy and has gorgeous decor. Great for birthday dinners and get togethers with friends.

Loved the diced wagyu beef cubes with veggies and truffle. The taste is amazing, the beef was melting in the mouth, crunchy beans cooked to perfection, and with the truffle flavour is just sensational. Always loved the steamed egg with scallop too. Very tasty dishes, good service too.

After frequenting many dim sum restaurants out in Sydney, I'm gonna give the crown to Melb as the ambience, food and canto trolley aunties really reminds me of a upmarket yumcha place in Hong Kong. The staple hargow siumai was done amazing, along with beef tendon and fried donut rice roll. Their egg tarts is absolutely to die for and honestly - I rate this place 10/10 for vibes/food.

The morning YumCha is on point and the lunch/dinner is also great. Food is also fresh and customer service is always great whenever we go. I would recommend this to a wide variety of folks as it can be expensive there is a 'Standard' part of the menu and a 'luxury' part of the menu which not many restaurants have. Great for budget and expensive eating.

Really stoked to get a last minute table at Westfield Doncaster- I know sometimes the staff is a bit of a hit and miss but today they were so good to us!

The highlights were the beef tendon, congee, football dumplings, stir fry noodles and the veggies- their steamed yellow Ma-Lai cake (馬拉糕）

I am not a big fan of their char siu pastry though! Some of their cheong fun is not great either. But overall an enjoyable experience

We came here for dinner. I did read the negative reviews. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and attentive. Food a little bit expensive but lived up to our expectations. Very quick service. In fact they got the mains before we finished the starter. That’s ok

Fantastic selection of delicious yum cha items. Love that they have a few dishes that you don’t typically see at other venues including some super sized items.

The best and most authentic I have ever had in Melbourne. Hard to get in without booking, everytime need to book a table 1 or 2 days ahead. There are so many dishes to chose from. Fair prices but delicious food.

Yummy yum cha, lots of food to choose from. Was happy when the orange juice came fr3sh squeezed however 25 bucks for a jug of OJ is a bit over the top. 4 people costs us 180 bucks and we didn't eat a lot. So keep that in mind when choosing dishes as the come past. Easy to rack up 500 if not careful

Yummy food and good service , especially one of the best restaurants for birthday party& wedding function arrangement. I would recommend to everyone !

You get what you pay for. And I paid a fair amount of money. What I got was a superb meal and lots of it. Well cooked, well presented. Definitely value for money.

I'll eat here again. I cannot fault this place....

Great service and fantastic food, chef added a Coconut tart that's along side the original egg tart. Awesome.

OMGoodness!!!! What a wonderful experience! The staff is so attentive and the meals are fantastic. The fish is so soft and the tofu is .... mmm... mmm... mmm....
What a great experience, highly recommend, and worth the 2hr drive to get here.
