The artwork on the Wall is truly amazing, reflecting immense dedication and hard work. It's important to note that this is a self-funded project, adding to the appreciation of the artist's commitment. The emotional impact is palpable, considering the many years invested in bringing this project to life.

Michelangelo comes to mind when looking at the exquisite wood sculpting on The Wall because Greg Duncan captures the tendons and muscles of the people and animals in such a realistic way. A true craftsman and I understand why it’s a ‘must see’ for all travellers.

Well and truly worth a visit. The artwork is detailed and thought-provoking, and is obviously a labour of love. We visited on a Sunday morning, and it was not very busy. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to sample any of the food or drinks.

A must see! Absolutely amazing. If you are going anywhere near, do yourself a favour and see this fantastic work.
The staff are also amazing. We had some trouble with our car, and they couldn’t have done anymore for us. We were stranded until after closing time and into the night, waiting for a tow. The Manager Sarah, who lives near bye, arrived back with her family. They had brought a brazier with firewood and started a fire to give us a little atmosphere, along with a couple of piccolos of sparkling wine, bottles of water and packets of chips. Thanks Sarah, you don’t know what that did for us at that time. Such kind and wonderful people.

The work here is amazing. I had to go around several times. Each time I spotted more details, more intricacies. It's a true masterpiece. Have visited a few times over the past 15 years and it's finally completed. Well worth the entry fee. Outstanding carved masterpieces. Preordered tickets 10% off the door price. No photography allowed, but we bought the book which contains fabulous photography much better than I could have taken myself.

This is my second visit to "The Wall". I would not visit Tasmania without including this attraction on my "to do" list. We were fortunate enough to be there at the half way mark & engrave our name on the "panel" to commemorate this milestone. It was great to see it up now as part of "The Wall".
Nowhere else have I seen/experienced anything quite like "The Wall". Huge talent but done with respect & feeling. Clearly reflecting emotion, love of history & environment. The story is clearly told & if you take it in, you will FEEL it.

Purchase entry online for $18.00 or you can pay $20.00 at the door. Recommend checking online regarding opening and closing times, especially between March and November. As an artist myself, I was unprepared for the impact of the exhibited work and the impressive venue. The carvings and supporting materials did not disappoint. I would have liked to learn more about the artist and process of The Walls conception and creation, but taking time to look at the entire collection and notes was rewarding. One caveat: This experience is not suitable for young, restless children. It is like any gallery. A play area for kids would allow adults to enjoy the immersive experience optimally.

Spectacular! A 3m high Huon pine wall sculpted into a walk through Tasmania's colonial years. Indoors so suitable for viewing the year round. Besides the Wall there are realistic sculptures in cabinets, all so good one would take them for the actual object. A master craftsman. A truly great experience

This man has done an amazing amount of work with wood. And other material. Seen it twice now. Not allowed to take photos inside. Outside are made of metal

Talent at its best. The whole family enjoyed walking around the gallery, each of us noticing something special that caught our eye. The attention to detail has to be seen to be believed.
Galley is right off the highway and takes about 30mins to enjoy. Bookings are essential.

What a treat this is. There is approximately 40 meters of carved huon pine depicting Australian Outback life. The realistic carvings are done by one artist who has been working on them since about mid 90’s. Such a talent and even if you have to travel just to see it, it is more than worth it. No photos are allowed inside the exhibition so I can’t give you a sneak peak.

I am in awe of the talent and message the artist has shared with us all. A legacy for futre generations and tribute to the past with a reminder, our actions matter. Thank you for the opportunity to share your vision, i bought the book as no photos allowed.

WOW, just WOW a must see exhibit if your in Tassie. This place is just mind boggling, the years and years of effort, I wish I could take a little piece home with me. You could easily spend hours here, enjoying the artistry and story behind it all. Make sure you pre- purchase tickets so you don’t miss out.

Stunning !!! Words cannot describe the impact the carvings have as you enter through the doors. A credit to the artist and also his son. Depicting history, some carvings were left unfinished so you can see the technique. The Wall is definitely a highlight. No photos inside are allowed, understandable when you see the work.

The Wall was recommended by a friend so as we were staying at Lake St Claire lodge we thought we would visit. IT WAS A “WOW”. Greg Duncan’s sculptures are magnificent. The detail makes the exhibit look life like. It is a wonderful exhibition showcasing the skills of this extremely talented Australian. A must visit!

Stunning. Very emotive. Give yourself an hour to have a really good un-rushed look through. We arrived earlier than our booking and it was no problem and we were made to feel very welcome. Really recommend!
