Definitely a must do at least once if you like Australian nature, it lasts 45 minutes and you can see crocodiles (we saw 3), snakes, you can see many kingfisher and other types of beautiful birds. A thing that I really liked are the mangroves and seeing many different tropical plants but all together.

Excellent cruise, even in the 'wrong' season on a very wet day we still saw 2 crocodiles. Great guide.

The tour to Daintree was a long brilliant day with walks, photo opportunities and an enjoyable lunch. The guide was informative and entertaining. I recommend the tour to anyone interested.

Fantastic experience. Arrived early and the owners had a great chat about the history and some of their animals on display. The tour was great. Our guide was incredibly informative and made the whole trip very interesting. Got to see 6 crocs with one being a big boy. Still a bit of cyclone and flood damage but even that was quite interesting. Would highly recommend.

Just brilliant. Mick had an in depth knowledge of the river, the rainforest, the history and the evolution of the region. Not only is this a croc tour but a river cruise with hands on teachings.

As we were visiting the area we were excited to see some crocodiles, when we arrived we were treated with a free refreshment and a little bit of information about the area.
Our boat was good and driver was friendly with good commentary throughout the cruise.
We were lucky enough to spot a few crocs as well as a few birds and snakes, it was good to learn about the area and it was very enjoyable I would do it again.

The cruise was absolutely amazing! My family and I enjoyed complimentary beverages, as well as a warm and bubbly welcome! The nature was very beautiful, and so was FANG the crocodile. I would highly recommend families to come and visit this attraction!

Absolutely one of the best memorable activities to do in North Queensland . The boat was extremely clean and safe, the tour guide knew everything about the Daintree river and the crocodiles habitat, as well as throwing a few good dad jokes into the very educational experience. Thank you team, a very affordable tour that pulls all the stops

Great cruise with DRC today with the witty Craig as our guide. Saw 6 crocodiles (including the King Scarface), snakes and amazing bird life. Customer service on check in was amazing, offered tea, coffee, cold drink and cookies.

Learned so much today from mike(?), really interesting and engaged host. Saw some interesting bird life and a few ‘salties’ who seemed less intimidating once you learn they have names…

Great cruise.
Easy to find the HQ, time for tar or coffee, then on-board for the cruise on flat bottom boat. Ample seating, cruised along riverbank saw Crocs close-up and some interesting birds. Guide was very knowledgeable and easy-going.
Overall, it's worthwhile taking time for this.
We did a morning cruise and had an almost full tide, so check tides, as a low tide may give more exposed bank to view the Crocs.

We did the Daintree and Mossman gorge and Cape Tribulation tour with Downunder Tours. This was well worth the $259 it cost morning tea and lunch was included and ice cream at the Daintree ice cream factory on our way back, our tour guide Daniel is a fountain of knowledge.

Our guide on the boat cruise was full of information and very happy to share it.

He tried his best to find us some crocodiles, we ended up seeing two smaller crocodiles and a larger female who was at the surface of the water.

We also seen other wildlife and our guide was pointing out anything he could find.

My partner and myself really did enjoy it, give this a go and regardless if you see a crocodile or not it definitely is worth it just for the scenery and boat ride.

One of the highlights of our trip to Cairns! I would highly recommend this as a part of your itinerary as the amazing views of the Daintree River is quite speechless. The creatures that you get to see like the bats, crocodiles, eagles and variety of plant life is something you will never see anywhere else. Anthony was very informative, friendly and gave us a personalised tour as we were the only ones on the boat at that time. The girl at the front desk was also very helpful with guiding us on how we can spend our day locally and where we can go. Definitely would recommend!

My father and I took a crocodile tour which was great with lots of spottings. Beautiful reviews on the Daintree river. Lovely staff and I liked that the tour guide didn't pull the over the top Aussie act.

The Daintree River Cruise Centre is the pick of the bunch, not to be confused with nearby competitors. We spotted 3 crocodiles. A six monther, a year old and a fifty year old female that swam toward us from a creek off the river. Plenty of bird life too. On the road to Daintree, look for the sign (see image). Easy to book on line using Fareharbor, and if a coupon is on offer, usually a great discount too. The hour long cruise flies by. Guides are good boatmen and very well informed about the river, ecosystem, geography, history and of course fauna and flora. The picnic tables include out in the shade, or undercover. Beautiful gardens, easy parking, parking room for a van or three as well. Drinks are available, no food, so bring a picnic lunch if you're going to stay after the cruise (or before) Reception is friendly and engaging, free tea, coffee, cold water or cordial on arrival. Try and arrive 15 minutes before cruise time. Not a tourist souvenir trap! We've done it twice, no two cruises are the same. Well worth doing.
