This was really great! The tour guide was great. Answered the questions, gave us a good laugh. Was raining but was still really enjoyable. The staff were amazing. They give you a drink and snack for the ride. The walk to the boat was beautiful. So lush and green! We saw two crocs which was great but even if we didn’t see any, it would have been worth it!

This tour was a great way to experience the Daintree from a different perspective. We saw lots of crocs and our boat driver Ray was excellent. He shared heaps of interesting facts about the crocs and also about how the river had been affected by the recent flooding in the area. I’d recommend it for kids too. Ours range from 4-8 years old and really enjoyed it.

Great trip, I'd recommend going in winter to see more crocodiles as they're more likely being in the water this time of year (April)
We got to see 1 Adult and 2 babies/kids so happy.

Fantastic experience! Not only was the cruise enjoyable and interesting, but Bruce is a very knowledgeable and funny professional. He ran us through the various animals and plants, stopping frequently to allow us to take photos. We managed to see crocs, snakes, birds and a huge variety of plants and trees. Recommended!

Worth booking this tour. It’s booked for an hour - though as went for at least 1.20 min - bonus! We saw six crocs and an Amethystine python.

The staff are all friendly and share plenty of info. The boat we were on was quite new and the roof cover quite high which gave as a great open view compared to all the other boats that we could see on the river that had a low roof.

Booking is best done if you want to get the time you want. We took the early morning session and it wasn’t too busy. The weather was perfect.

Our third day in Cairns took us up the Captain Cook Highway for about 2 hours, on a wonderful twisting roadway with amazing views all the way. It's surprising just how different the flora is up this way compared to ours in Melbourne. It's even hard to find a eucalyptus tree up this way!! Anyhow, arriving at Bruce Belcher's Crocodile ranch we were met by the lovely Shazza, the charming lady looking after the souvenir shop. They have an amazing selection of souvenirs and very reasonably priced!!! It's worthwhile getting there an hour early as their little shop and train is a delight to walk around beforehand. It absolutely poured with rain right up until the moment we stepped on the boat to sail up the Daintree. Instant sunshine, so the Gods were smiling :-) Once again, our tour guide, (Bruce's son) a font of knowledge with eyes like a hawk who could spot the tiniest of birds at 50 metres or a green tree snake sitting amongst the leaves on the nearby branches, was extremely knowledgeable of both the animals and the local highlights !!! He brought us up close and personal with some huge crocs, snakes and even the occasional kingfisher, who all appeared oblivious to the open-mouthed tourists sitting on his boat! The sun continued shining until we completed our trip and on command, began as soon as we stepped off the boat! Could not ask for a better trip!

Great cruise, is worth it even if you don’t see a croc! The walk to the river is through the beautiful rainforest, the boat is open air and easy for every guest to see. We saw lot’s of crocs, snakes and birds. Beautiful scenery and just all round awesome. Good old fashioned hospitality at the end with a free cuppa and cute gift store. Really loved this cruise - thanks so much.

We had a really great tour and saw a lot of crocodiles. From baby to the huge male, everything was there. The guide has explained a lot about the crocodiles but also about nature and vegetation. We had a great afternoon and can absolutely recommend the tour!

We had a really great time!

Jon and Ray are super friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgeable.
We didn't see a large croc, just a baby onw, but it was still a really interesting tour.
They do offer the opportunity of another cruise if you don't see a big croc, but as we were leaving the area the next day we didn't take them up on it.
The sausage rols were also very delicious, and the slushy was a hit with the kiddo.

Thanks again guys!

Such a beautiful and peaceful cruise on the Daintree River! Loved it! We were lucky to have a dead carcass of a cow (sorry, dead cow, RIP) in the river, which was soon visited by some crocs! Bruce is knowledgeable and knows the river well, which is hardly surprising considering he's been doing this for the past twenty years! Highly recommended!

We had such an amazing time! Our trip was the 2.30pm one. We saw 3 big crocodiles and around 5 of the small ones from quite a close distance. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We even had to call to reschedule the date due to road closures and there was no problem at all. Completely recommended!!

Crocs were hard to find but the team tried super hard to locate our elusive goal. Everyone were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a lovely morning in FNQ!

Beautiful surroundings from the time you enter the property, like an oasis that is colourful and well maintained. Very friendly staff willing to have a genuine chat and great little gift shop with something for everyone. Historic walk down memory lane and get to know the crocs by photo in the original river train. Sturdy and newish boat that was skippered by a funny and candid typical Aussie bloke that knew every croc spotted by name and had a wealth of knowledge about them and the area. We would definitely go back for sure 👍thanks guys.....

Couldn’t rate this tour more. We booked last minute and we’re recommended this via a car hire company. There are so many tours to choose from but we weren’t disappointed. Bruce is so knowledgeable! We spotted two adult crocs and a few babies. The whole experience was great.

We had an excellent trip with Ray who took us to see some awesome crocs. He answered every question we had with enthusiasm and great local knowledge, taking time after the trip to answer more of our questions. An all round amazing experience, and excellent value for money, especially as we opted for the lunchtime cruise which included a sausage roll and a soft drink afterwards. Great service, would definitely recommend!

Wonderful cruise with a very knowledgeable Ray as our Tour Driver. Shazza in the office was warm and welcoming. Bruce gave us a few laughs before the tour.
